Do you honestly think Americans will work those jobs? And if Americans do not work those jobs and we end up having supply chain shortages because they can't get the product to market, what options do you think we have at that point?
The jobs that Elon musk is so anxious to get HB1 visas for immigrant workers to fill, Americans would love to fill. But Elon musk wants to fill them cheaper than Americans are willing to work them.

What jobs are you referring to?
Do you think Americans will want to work in the hot son on industrial farms?

And if their are higher prices and food shortages because Americans won't work those jobs. What options forward at that point do you think we have in getting the food to market?

I was talking about farm labor.

As for the hb1 Visas your claim is that Americans will work those jobs. Can you please provide data and proof to back up this claim. You can list as many links as you want and I'll get to what I can just tell me a couple important ones but the more information the better.

People who come to the US on H-1B visas aren't farmworkers. They're professionals with specialized knowledge. They have to have a bachelor's degree or higher; or the equivalent work experience to even qualify.

I've heard Donald Trump stupidly say he has lots of people working at his clubs that came here on H-1B visas; however, he's confused. Those would be H-2B visas. He doesn't even know the difference and he's the one who will be making decisions about this stuff? Man oh man, gonna be a long four years.

I find myself questioning if it's all theater and the Dems set Trump up to win.
The thought has crossed my mind so many times as well, step back and look at the whole picture and what you have stated makes a lot of sense.

I, and perhaps others here, have seen videos secretly recorded of conferences where HR folks were instructed on how to disqualify Americans so H1B holders would be hired.

I'm sorry if I didn't communicate clearly. Timbers was saying he was in support of deporting all the illegals. And I was asking if you deport all those legals you're deporting a large percentage of our farm workers. So my question is does he really think Americans will work those jobs?

And if it turns out that Americans won't work those jobs and and we end up having grocery shortages what would be the next step forward at that point.

I mean the state department have been disrupting foreign governments for years. They had to be aware going after Trump at the time they did, the cases wouldn't be tried before the election. And they had to know that doing that would create a political martyr.

I think you've got migrant workers mixed up with immigration/illegal immigration. That's a whole 'nuther topic. I'm for migrant workers, by the way, so long as they're doing the manual labor jobs that Americans generally don't want, though Americans should be offered the jobs first, which they often are. Migrant workers generally speaking, are not immigrants, but come here just to do the seasonal work, then go home.

Deport all illegals. H1B are legal and highly educated. Look at the engineering programs in the USA they’re not exactly white and Hispanic and black..

high schoolkids used to detassel corn here locally for the seed companies, now it is Mexicans, seed companies prices for seed are going up, not down. If they paid enough they would get the help here.

I have a question for Trump followers, my question is how do you feel about the current conflict in the mega movement? Are you on Bannon's side or musk's side, why and why not?
I'm not a follower. Nor a believer in "Trumpism"

However, he does seem to be more of an originalist than the establishment.

Meaning all entrenched politicians are at odds with him. Because special interest groups have bought congress and etc.

So guys like Lindsey Graham is going to be against anything Trump wants that he thinks he can oppose without upsetting the party or constituents (who voted for Trump)

I wasn't directing this at you specifically. It was more of an FYI for anyone who might be interested.

Bannon has a good heart and has much love for the sons of our people. Elon has a good brain and many good ideas for the sons of our people. The best answer lies somewhere in between and I believe Trump will thread the needle on this issue. It's not really a conflict within MAGA as the enemy forces would like to frame it so that they can try to subvert America's sons, but it is rather the challenge of the broader coalition that was formed this time around. A nuance here is the H1B workers are not illegal invaders who are just here to plunder and supplant, rather they play by the rules, they serve under contract faithfully and then they go home, they respect our culture so they're alright. It is also okay to want to benefit our people more though and not become dependent on an outer force. Ideally the heart and the head should work in together for benefit of the whole body. I like the idea you put forward about more technical training, you have a good idea and line of thinking.

If forced to choose for the sake of the topic you put forward I would align more with Bannon and the heart side of things, for it is better to love your own sons than it is to puff up the brain but cause your own sons to languish. Ultimately though I recognize that this is a broader coalition, there is room for Musk and he is not totally without merit either. This is why really Trump was the clear choice since he is a managerial personality and really is the one that can keep the broad coalition together and hold them both in check and make the most of their talents for our benefit and the wider public can be blessed and therefore owe praises to Jesus.

Here's a rundown on the actual types of visas. The seasonal agriculture visa is actually an H2A visa not H2B which is for non-agricultural. So janitors, maids, construction workers, lawn services, cooks, dishwashers ect. https://it.usembassy.gov/visas/niv/h-l-o-p-q-r/

Interestingly on the eve of the new broader coalition being inaugurated under Trump that it seems Bernie Sanders will align with the Bannon faction on the H1B issue. After defending the heart Bannon populists over the brainy Musk technocrats at the heart of the topic, Bernie pledges to be wise and bend the knee to Trump and join up in some way to the new broader MAGA 2.0 coalition.

Barely know about Bannon, but he seems clueless. Told trump to get together with zelensky to end Ukraine war. Trump has already met with him and done that a while ago. He told zelensky it's ending. He says it could become another Vietnam. Idk... but we're leaving it and that's all I care about. If politicians send us into a useless war, they are the enemy of the people. Bc war causes inflation and people to suffer greatly like happening now.

Elon is fine. He's a family man and not for population control, so he's not evil like a lot of democrats in charge. Idk if he's Christian though.

The democrats are so over the top. They are quite literally evil and need out of office.
