I love coffee, but am cutting back on the caffeine...I usually drink 4 or 5 cups a day, and I've had an irregular heartbeat for quite some time. I noticed that if I cut caffeine down, my heart rate seems more stable.

I've been drinking one cup of the good stuff first thing in the morning, then nothing but de-caf after that. My company provides coffee for us, and it's Seattle's Best. Their de-caf is ok, but I'd like to find the "best" de-caf blend.

Any suggestions from experience?

I love coffee, I can't get enough of it! The caffeine doesn't really do much to me.

I'm afraid you could put an Orange Cat on poison and blue would drink it lol. :p

I don't know how many cups I actually drink, its a sort of the bottomless cup, and I do experience those flutters too. But, I also know when I've not consumed my usual dosage since a migraine will almost always ensue. Finding a good decaf might help in gradually reducing my caffeine intake and settle the ongoing argument between my heart and my head.

However, this decaf taste test article only offered one review that didn't say something like, "at least it doesn't taste bad," or "like weak diner coffee", and that is the review of Eight O'clock 'the original decafe' Coffee, saying, "Bold." and "Solid."

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/26/decaf-coffee-taste-test_n_4855626.html

And, a more recent article also included it among the top 10 best decaf coffee brands, which were all medium roasts except for one dark roast from Kicking Horse.

Just kidding...in case you believed me...

I like espresso too but i also like a fresh roasted Dunkin Donuts coffee as well.
As far as flavors go, i like hazelnut flavor the most.

One a day is enough and some days i skip having one.

Dunkin' Donut coffee is good, along with some donut sticks or fruit filled donuts. America runs on Dunkin'.

I know there has been threads like this but here's a new one. So what's your favorite and how many cups can you handle? Right now I'm drinking Folgers and I must say it's quite disgusting. I've become a coffee snob lately and I crave any coffee other then the stuff my parents buy. I had a Kona Blend K-Cup but My dad drank the last one yesterday. I'm currently broke or I'd go to the nearest gas station
Ya know, I like coffee-flavored things, generally speaking... rarely pure coffee.

The only time I drank pure coffee and enjoyed it was when a friend made some for me from an old-fashioned percolator. Other than that, I prefer coffee drinks like this:

For a hotter variety, I like to mix Taster's Choice packets with hazelnut syrup and this creamer:

And then of course there are espresso drinks. My goodness. Leave it to the Italians.

The only problem with this though is that I drink probably 3 coffee drinks per day, on top of diet soda that also has caffeine. My doctor told me that I'm dehydrating myself and that I need to ingest more water. And so I have.

i started drinking coffee back in 2017 because i got tired of drinking, water, juice & milk always. Jamaican Blue Mountain was the 1st i tried. it's absolutely fantastic. then i tried, Hawaiin Kona Volcanic & Hawaiin Kona Mauna Loa Roast Theory. both are super great. smooth, no acid, & whole bean.

My favorite is organic, Peruvian, light roast, single origin, and picked by the hands of Juan Valdez himself.

But seriously, organic tastes best regardless of the kind. Purified water is one key to great coffee. Learning how to use a French Press is the best brew IMHO.

Lately I've been using black strap molasses as a sweetener. I almost always add fresh Ginger to the cup. Then I add my morning Bible reading.

I like a cup of Cafe Bustello in the morning with breakfast. I might have one more cup of regular coffee and then decaf for the rest of the day.

i do a mix of decaf and regular.

as in, mix half of one and half the other in a container, put in the coffee maker and brew!!
