You say that as if what has been considered "the church" throughout history has never been wrong about anything .
You probably believe you are right in all you say, as does @HeIsHere even when shown to be in error.
Acknowledging that The Chosen series is helping to opening people's eyes to the Truth
of God's revealed written Word does not in any way deny any part of the gospel. So
yes, in as much as that much is true, I certainly do support it. Especially since my
own testimony includes going to see a movie on the life of Christ many years ago,
and having a very profound personal encounter with God. It happens, and I hope
many more experience the grace, love, forgiveness and mercy of God as I have .

If I reference someone I usually try to let them know, of course I am not perfect and do not state everything with great detail but that is my usual desire to let the person know since I typically, usually like to know if I am mentioned somewhere on a thread.
And worse in other clips.

I am relatively sure mod has enough to do without being notified every time someone wants
to identify who mod is. He has said as much, and I believe him. Any ways, you may have noticed
that my posts are more often than not quite short. Great detail is not usually required in order
to get a point across. In fact, I find a preponderance of words often defeats the purpose.
Thank you for being considerate enough to let people know when you mention them, though.

This gets so nit picky so let's get down right childish for a moment here.
My God is a Loving God that Died for Everyone, but, I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church that taught God chooses which people are Saved and which go to HELL.
Theoretically, Mine and their God, ARE NOT, THE SAME GOD.
My personal opinion is this, if people want to watch this series that is fine, if people learn about Jesus through this series that is good, however to me it is like watching Fox News, while they state many facts they are also not to be trusted.
If it purely for entertainment that is one thing, but for those who whitewash some of these legitimate concerns to me that is a problem.
I am sure that as a production company they could have made a rule that no personal political items be brought on set whether a MAGA hat or flag, they wanted to be inclusive and why is that?
Perhaps this is that old path of thesis, antithesis and synthesis used over and over again.
If people learn about Jesus through this series that is good. I agree .
If they merely wanted to entertain, would they have chosen this subject matter?
I suppose they could have, but I doubt it. I also doubt they are doing it just for the money. v
But some will raise these and other concerns as if they are legitimate reasons for no Christian to watch it.
Or anybody else for that matter.
