Just a quick post to bring this Thread back to the head of the line so people that might want to have a Chat with Each other can find it easier...
.
I do not. Might want to see if @Kojikun does (I just flagged him to this post). Many other may, just thr first one that came to my mind. Hope this helpHmm, I’m just asking out of boredom, but does anyone on here play Pokemon TCG? I do play the videogames, but just wondering if I can find people that play the TCG, lol.
Cool, thanks. Yeah I think I know who you are talking about cause they responded to my post in the “Favorite videogame” thread. Yeah I tried posting in the miscellaneous forums my recent booster box pulls, and the only response I got was someone saying it would be better if I posted my Pokémon TCG stuff in the Teen forums...but I’m 25 so that would have been awkward if I did that, lolI do not. What ever you want to chat about Up.what is the main topic, lot of posts in here
Yeah, I've been playing Pokemon tcg on and off since it came out. I used to just collect them but I started playing when I was older. Do you play online?Hmm, I’m just asking out of boredom, but does anyone on here play Pokemon TCG? I do play the videogames, but just wondering if I can find people that play the TCG, lol.
Yeah, I may have to get into the online version. I started in 97 when pokemon came to the states. I still have some from the early sets. There mostly unusable as there very under powered. It's when Wizards of the Coast owned the rights. I mostly play magic the gathering but I have like 10 other tcgs I'm currently into. I like card games lol@Kojikun
Yeah I do ^_^, right now I’m playing a Vikavolt V deck and a ADP energy switch with Zacian V. I wanted to play Noctowl/Pidgeot deck for the 2021 season, but since they announced Brycen and Belleba being banned, I won’t be able to run Noctowl/Pidgeot as well as I could. So my Pokemon TCG story starts in late 2009, as I found out that the cards actually have a game, and it’s more than collecting them. So I went to a battle road tournament with a theme deck I bought at the store, where the tournament was being held. I stopped playing around 2015 cause that’s when my money really went into anime/manga collecting. But I’m back into it since November 2019 cause I started a Pokémon League where I live. If you wanna battle me or trade cards, you can find me as “tcg-gamer”
Hey Becca. And a Happy Weekend to you as well.Happy Weekend![]()
The member Kojikun probably does as he plays all kinds of games. He is artistically inclined and designs his own fantasy role-playing card games. Very impressive actually.Hmm, I’m just asking out of boredom, but does anyone on here play Pokemon TCG? I do play the videogames, but just wondering if I can find people that play the TCG, lol.
Yeah I understand the "Magic" dilemma. I'm not found of the term myself, not to mention its very over used. I've given up a few card and video games due to problematic content. Yugioh was one and a number of Jrpgs and rpgs. I think it's important that Christian's make alternatives to these type of things.@Kojikun
That’s really cool. I always into the videogames since I was 7 years old. My older sister was actually into Pokémon...but it was the 1990s (She was born in ‘91) so it was more of “Being into it because it’s popular” because she isn’t into it nowadays, but I do have some of the older cards. I can say for Pokémon TCG they rotate sets so right now would be the best time to get into it because set rotations if I remember should be August 28th.
But yeah, I just stick to Pokémon cause I like Pokémon, I was thinking of maybe trying Cardfight Vanguard, but I think I don’t have the money to do 2 different TCGs. I know if I ever got into Magic or D&D my Dad wouldn’t be happy, he isn’t really into “magical stuff”, he wouldn’t even let my half-sister watch Coco (She’s 7 years old), the only way she saw it was at a friend’s house. My dad used to not really like Pokémon cause of his dislike for magic stuff/some of Pokémon’s dark themes like having ghosts, but he saw how it helped me to become better at being social and open up, so he’s okay with it nowadays. I still struggle being social, but I can talk about Pokémon for a long while and I feel like going to league was an important step for me to open up a bit and have somewhere safe to share my hobbies with like-minded people.
Yeah, it is actually overused, that is very true. But yeah I'm thinking of what I have to give up videogame wise. Already gave up on Anime conventions, they are fun, but most do allow vendors of any kind, and this does include people selling homosexual stuff (Including homosexual porn), and heterosexual porn, they cover up their booths usually but I saw one of their booths with the "LGTBQ Flags" (It was a convention being held in June...but still, not good) and when a convention I was thinking of going to said they support "LGTBQ groups" on Facebook, I was done and did not want to go, realizing my money that pays to get into said conventions, means I'm supporting said conventions to allows those kind of vendors into the selling places of the convention. So I want to show what I support, so I've been trying to give money to my church and have decided for conventions, to just stick to videogame conventions. I remember nothing really that awful (Definitely don't remember seeing anything LGTBQ related) at Retropalooza, so I'm gonna try to go back to Retropalooza next year. It's a small convention, but still fun ^_^Yeah I understand the "Magic" dilemma. I'm not found of the term myself, not to mention its very over used. Good for you!!!Yeah, it is actually overused, that is very true. Oh nice! Well, if you end up going, let me know, be interested in knowing if it is mostly Transformers or hype. Ya, pretty Micheal Bay and Beast Wars stuff, there was actually cool transformers...Gen 1. For those who are not familiar, not a Bibke refference@BlessedByGod
I honestly don't know, I've only been to Texas conventions (Cause I'm in Texas, lol), so I've been to: Anime Matsuri, San Japan, Ikkicon, Oni-con, Delta H Con, and Retropalooza (In Houston, not the Arlington one). I will admit there is a small part of me that wants to plan a "dream vacation" with my brother to "Mecha Con" (It's in Louisiana) cause they "claim" to be mostly about Transformers, which my brother loves Transformers and he still collects them (But he does like the Michael Bay movies so...yeah, he's a common movie goer, I like movies too much and want to see good movies being made, lol), but they appear on the "AnimeCon.com" website which means they will probably carry some anime. Like if it's Gundam and other robot anime, I'm cool with that...but if it's two guys characters from gundam...ahem..."being shipped together", then that isn't good, or even if they have random merch stuff in general cause if that's the case, then yeah unholy stuff is gonna seep in, cause if the vendor buys the table, anyone is let in.
