I did. And, I was sharing with the thread my thought on cat food for eating it to live. One had nothing to do with the other other than they were both about cat food and eating it🙄.

I feel if I dont do it I dont love God enough but I know I do and I always feel like I didn't need to go that far...Im asking God if its him tell me and a voice says no but Its driving me nuts :(
Know that we all struggle in this flesh of ours. Don't beat yourself up too much, please. I think it awesome that you examine your self. I know He loves you and will help you, because in the depths of your heart and mind you want to so badly to honor Him. I get this impression anyway. It, OCD, may be your thorn, I do not know but my heart feels bad because clearly it has to be so frustrating. Again, I struggle with glitches in my being and I think we all do. We will always need Him.

But we can hold on to this..

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB

Praying

Prayer Request. My Ocd has been guilt tripping me again :( A month a go I had a panic attack and my brain told me if I loved God I would rip up one of my expensive cards. So I did. I than felt God tell me I didnt need to do that. It happened another time. Now Im getting it again but its for my flash drives which I have all the books I wrote and card games and I really dont want to trash it but my brain is screaming at me :( I dont want to destroy all my stuf

Willingness and resolve to sacrifice/ lose the things you love for God's sake is for God's gain. When you have this kind of intent to things, tithing included, God will bless you, i have experienced it too many times to count. Rather than destroy or delete them put them in a box or something and put them away somewhere for a while, while having full resolve to get rid of them if called to do so.
At the same time focus on God and learn that He is more valuable than those things. The creator is always greater than the things created, and things created is usually the thing man chases and idolizes. You can have and enjoy them, but be ready to dump them at any time if He says so. Having the mindset to have the intent to do that is an active expression of love for God. I know many who claim that they "love God with all of their heart", yet they can't even give the smallest things because they are too deep in their comfort zones, and they think love is just an emotional thing.

While you have your things put away, ask for a sign or something to let you know to get rid of them if it is His will. Also pray about it, and let Him know that you are ready and fully committed to get rid of them if you do get a confirmation on it. If you don't get a response after a few days, just put them back, and be resolved that He is fine with you having them. And when you do take them back, keep the mindset that He could still call and ask for them at anytime, so keep your offerings to Him still on the table.

Well I'm glad to know I'm doing something right by doing so. I've had to weed out quite a few things in the past 4 years

What do you do with social distancing...? Home with 2 kids and your hubby, and you are dying to “relax”? You get a nice glass of wine and sip it all night. First glass of wine in like over a year... mmmm. It’s tasty too!

Ya, I was pondering on that word "social distancing". First time I have heard it is with all this virus talk. It will be us from now on I'd image, makes me sad. So many times, what this world needs is a good hug you know? Anyway, just a thought, now I'm passing it along to you all....and the internet...🙂

I just can’t wait till I can go back to church, I mean I feel like I haven’t been in over a month, which that’s partly true. But still, I miss seeing my church family, I miss seeing my pastor in person and hugging all my friends. So yea, this really sucks for me cause I’m the hugger... and I need my close friends nearby so I can feel human again. Ugh...

stupid coronavirus.. 😭😭
