Have you started your Brexit box yet?
For the last few months I’ve been getting a few bits extra of groceries.
Over half of our fresh fruit and veg is imported. So at a minimum tinned fruit
and veg should be stocked up on.

The government says it has been stock piling tinned goods. But even if there is
no shortage, prices will likely go up.

If by some fluke we end up staying in the EU. I will cash in by placing a few Hens in my back Yard and applying for a Farming subsidy!

Cancel Brexit' petition passes 2m signatures on Parliament site

Data from the petitions website on Thursday evening suggested 1.3m signatures were from people who said they were from the UK, 10,000 from France, nearly 6,000 from Spain and more than 4,000 from Germany, among others.

It could be a Billion but St Teresa has no intention of supporting it. Latest news is that the DUP wont back her deal and that its possible
she wont put it to the vote for the third time. Instead she might allow the various groups to vote for their flavours of Brexit and see
whether any of them gets a majority. The chances of that happening is about as likely of me winning the Euro lottery so Im not holding my breath.

It just occurred to me, I don’t think countries outside of Europe,
fully understand just how massive this is and the impact across the globe.

It’s been described as the biggest thing to happen in Europe since the Berlin Wall fell,
although I’m not sure how many outside of Europe even know about that.
 
So what will change if Brexit happens? Isn't England already using their own currency (the pound)? Won't it just be some new laws about immigration?

Noooooo..lol
It’s a lot more. Over 60% of UK Legislation is EU laws. So all those need to be
unravelled and written into UK law.

Then there are all the borders and trade agreements, imports exports, checkpoints.

Plus the EU will also suffer, German car manufacturers for example are very
concerned as the U.K. is a major importer of their cars.

Then there are issues such as do we still get to use the EU satellites, does EU
citizens still get to use the NHS.

What happens with EU migrant workers over in the U.K, what about UK people
who live in the EU.

Germany wants to build an EU army which they will control.

The U.K. pays massive amounts into the EU so the EU will lose out.
Some countries only take out of the money pot. Others pay in and take out
less than they pay in. The main funders are U.K, France, Germany. So if the
UK leaves, that will leave the EU with a big hole in finances, hence the
“Divorce settlement” deal.

Since it has so many pieces to it, they should address it one piece at a time and not try to rush the whole thing... (unless that is what they're already doing - They haven't really given any details in the news here).

It looks like stopping the money flow to the EU should be the first step, and that's probably the main reason why people voted for brexit in the first place.

As far as the satellites go, the EU should just start charging Britain for their use.
