Seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread, and wear our own clothing. Just let us be called by your name. Take away our reproach.”

In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel.

Isaiah 4:5 (NRSV)

Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over its places of assembly a cloud by day and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night. Indeed over all the glory there will be a canopy.

Isaiah 5:2 (WEB)

He dug it up, gathered out its stones, planted it with the choicest vine,
built a tower in the middle of it, and also cut out a wine press in it.
He looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes.

What more could have been done for my vineyard than I have done for it? When I looked for good grapes, why did it yield only bad?

For the vineyard of Yahweh of Armies is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant:
and he looked for justice, but, behold, oppression; for righteousness, but, behold, a cry of distress.

Woe to those who join house to house, who lay field to field, until there is no room,
and you are made to dwell alone in the middle of the land!

"Surely the great houses will become desolate, the fine mansions left without occupants."

"They have harps and lyres at their banquets, pipes and timbrels and wine,
but they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord, no respect for the work of his hands."

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Therefore Sheol has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure;

and their glory, their multitude, their pomp, and he who rejoices among them, descend into it.
