Miss Lanolin said no but she had seen the Southern Lights.

Thor racked his brains. Miss Lanolin was hard to get. If she had already seen the Southern Lights he would have to do something even better with his Northern ones. Cos they were kind of the same.

She looked on her TikTok. It seemed like her Chipmunks account was attracting too many likes. There was one called CCgirl who was in love with Alvin and followed him everywhere.

Everyday, CCgirl posted love hearts to Alvin in hopes of attracting his attention. But to no avail. because Alvin didnt look on TikTok. He just looked in his own mirror and liked what he saw.

Miss Greenlips Hine didnt want CCgirl to make a fool of herself. She resolved to match up CCgirl with CCboy and take them to the Chipmunks playground to play in the ballpit.

There was one problem though, CCboy was five years old and CCgirl was ten. Maybe that didnt matter though once they got into the ballpit.
 
Ms Jenny had been going through some old records she had gotten from her grandmother. In the midst of the collection she found a Roy Orbison record. Seeing that she was not the owner of a record player she had to look it up on Spotify. Wow, she thought, them songs was real good. California Blue really got her. What a voice he had.

Thor took Miss Lanolin up to the seed vault somewhere near Svalsbard. After he took her to see the Northern Lights and explaining it is lights that make plants grow, in his Norwegian accent.

Miss Lanolin, not quite understanding, asked when spring would arrive in Norway or was it to be an eternal winter? She had never seen so much snow in her life and was sure her sheep would get lost if they moved to Norway
 
Kevin had banned meatloaf from Lanolinland and suddently Jacinta was inundated with cans of spam and corned beef on Quarantine Island that would expire 50 years from now.

She stacked them up like bricks and decided to make an lighthouse out of them, sticking them together with industrially contaminated ketchup banned from McDonalds, that glowed in the dark.
 
Miss Jenny was listening to Roy Orbison singing Pretty Woman. It was like he was singing Pretty Woman just for her.

She wondered if he ever sang a song called Pretty Jenny. There was Pretty Paper, Blue Angel. Blue Bayou, Leah, but no Jenny songs.

Then she looked further in her grandmothers collection and pulled out a record. It was by the Hollies and one of the songs was called Jennifer Eccles.

I aint no Jennifer, she remarked, but close enough.
 
Ms Jenny couldn’t fathom how Ms President Lanolin ever had missed out on The Sonics “Jenny Jenny”. Quite a catchy song. A little dated but close enough.

I'm banning The Sonics because Jenny Jenny sounds too much like Johnny B Good and Whole Lotta Shaking Goin On.

Course the song 867-5309 is really titled Jenny.
 
Miss Lanolin was listening to 'Let it Go' and had never heard of the Sonics.
She had the Disney Princess soundtrack on and was teaching Thor how to do karaoke to improve his English.

Thor needed a part he could sing though and so Miss Lanolin picked Anything You can Do, I Can do Better

We will save 'A whole New World' for when you get your magic carpet Thor.
 
Thor didnt have a magic carpet but he DID have a balsa wood raft. He said he was going to voyage all the way to Lanolinland.

Miss Lanolin was sceptical that he would ever make it.
 
Thor, as in Heyerdahl, really had a thing going with Ms President of Lanolinland. The fact that he passed away in 2002 wasn’t going to stop him. What was death in comparison to true love? No more than an obscure idea. Not a thing to take seriously. His earthly body was maybe caressed by worms, but the love of a president would make him prevail like leaves on a tree would overcome winter.
 
Thor didnt tell Miss Lanolin that he had once been cryogenically frozen, and that he was just thawing out. He still looked like he was only at most 21 years old. Also his grandad was famous.
