Then do not tell us you obey the sabbath or demand we follow it, because you are not even secure enough in your own faith to show us how you obey the sabbath and as such, can not be believed,

The law states there are things you must do to be obedient concerning the sabbath.
if your not doing all of those things, your not obeying the law. Your obeying a watered down version, which is not obedience at all
this is the point people have been trying to make here

Again, the law states you according to the law are supposed to do this, if your not doing the. All, you not obeying the law. At most your obeying a watered down version, like many do, and are not obedient at all.
What are trying to say???? Are the 10 commandments not clear? Nothing watered down about them...

Moses did not create the laws including the ones concerning the sabbath either,
I was just using Jesus own argument, if they did not believe moses....
I find it amazing neither of you want to discuss the law concerning the sabbath, your silence speaks loudly!

If you can't understand the Sabbath as a 10 commandments and not ceremonial Laws, then talking to you about how to keep the Sabbath would be unfruitful.

Where did you get a "demand we follow it" from anything I have posted? And where did you get the authority to judge me? God didn't give you that authority.

the command “keep the sabbath”
explain that to us, explain what it means, what it encompasses. What it looks like?
if you can’t, your just another wanna be lawyer who thinks he is righteous because he thinks he obeys the commands,
oh and so, what was nailed? The penalty of the law was nailed. Because NO one but Christ had ever kept the law, thus all are seen as under sin, the penalty of sin is death,
Jesus also told us how to live under the new covenant, he told us to love God and love others and through paul told us to seek after the things of the spirit,
the law (commands included) were a schoolmaster, to convict us of sin and lead us to the redeemer, it was NEVER given as a means of sanctification, thus to try to use it in that way is to take it out of context, and the only way even possible is to water it down to a way you can actually achieve it like the jews did.

I'm yet to hear any sabbatarian explain to me exactly how they "keep the sabbath." As I have pointed out numerous times, to "keep the sabbath" as it was required in the Old Testament under the old covenant law would involve compliance with specific regulations (Exodus 16:23; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21) that were strictly enforced.
There were burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13) along with no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath (Exodus 35:3) and every man must remain in his place on the sabbath. (Exodus 16:29) No trading. (Amos 8:5) No marketing. (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19)
These were commanded by God to Israel (Exodus 35:1). So how can someone truly "keep the sabbath" day then they only keep part of it?
According to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people. Do sabbatarians today practice this? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did under the old covenant, no sabbatarian can live consistently under these Mosaic regulations.

I do believe we should rest on the sabbath, but you have to realize, until moses wrote the law, there was no bible study there was no worship service, there were not all these things god put in place in the law given to the Jew.
so how did they keep the sabbath?
you should stop asking tough questions. and making Biblical sense. the Sabbatarians are struggling with this, since their theology is based on opinions...
Prior to Moses, there was no command for sabbath keeping. Look at Deuteronomy 5:1-15 which gives the commandments to Israel. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.
Nehemiah 9:13 - “Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments. 14 “So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And laid down for them commandments, statutes and law, Through Your servant Moses.
I rest on Sunday, which is my day off from work, but I don't consider that to be keeping the sabbath under the law. Now of course, I've basically been condemned by certain SDA's and Armstrongites (those who attend the Worldwide church of God) for working on Saturday. They told me I was not keeping the sabbath day and was "willfully sinning" by failing to do so. That is absolute LEGALISM! I am not an Israelite under the old covenant law.
