The awkward moment when a guy sits at the table next to you in a fairly empty Starbucks and keeps looking down at his computer then looking your way (like does he have some kind of tick?), and you wonder if he's waiting for someone and keeps looking towards the door, or starring at your computer screen making you paranoid that he might be gathering info about you. So you stare back to give him the hint to grab some social skills.

I wanted to talk to you, Arwen! It's just that...I got nervous about having to explain how I found you/knew where you were...

I kept looking at the door because I felt nervous and creepy, and just thought I should leave embarrassed...

That awkward moment when you're trying not to fall asleep while working with a violin student.

That awkward moment when you know you've been studying too much about infections because you call a woman MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus or "Mersa") instead of Marrisa.

That awkward moment when you're on CC, but muted it, come back 20-30 minutes later, totally forgetting you're already in the chat. So you click the "chat" button, and you find out you were already IN chat.

That awkward moment last night, you have the lights off and are trying to get to sleep. You reach for your phone because you forgot to turn it off, miscalculate the distance and fall out of bed, bum first, to hit the hard ground below. Ouch!

That awkward moment when you take ANY allergy medication, and 15-30 minutes later...nothing's changed. =/ *sniffle*

It sounds like you're congested and an allergy pill isn't going to fix that. Allergy pills reduce the histamine response in the body not the swelling in the sinuses. You need something like Sudaphed.

Yay! I was a pharmacy tech once upon a time, and I appreciate your prognosis.

I don't like Psuedophedrine...as it has many legal implications and misuses, thus...I stick to things like Mucinex...nonetheless, I'm afraid medication is just expensive...so I'll continue to suffer, and try doing so valiantly

True, there are legal implications, but if you're doing legal things, then there's nothing to fear. Have you tried steam, a nettie pot, or something like that?

I was a tech too once a upon a time ago! I found what helped me is HydraSense w/ Euclyptus Nasal Spray and it is non-addictive too!

These are all great responses! Thanks ladies! Unfortunately, ugh...at the idea of a netti pot, and all these cost money. Alas! Imma po' po' college student...

Sorry for the double post, but I thought about it...came back...and just had to say, Arwen, you become more attractive with every new thing I learn about you. I'm gonna have to invest in a lot more Starbucks!

Awkward or..... inner ear infection? hand/eye coordination lacking? lol Jesus..please heal TinTin's bum & give him the wisdom to move his phone closer to his bed. Amen!:)

Haha! Cheers, mate. I found my head and body at a 30 degree angle to my bed. No ear infection, just a moment of clumsiness.

Tea with honey and lemon (and/or cinnamon) isn't expensive! :) It helps too!

And when we're talking about "drugs" that aren't good for you...don't do acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you can. I personally know how that can mess up your liver, and I'm still paying (I wasn't able to take an NSAID due to my age at the time). Naproxem Sodium (Aleve) is a better alternative in my opinion.

Oh sorry about your liver, Lil. :( It is the only organ in the body that can actually regenerate itself (if damaged or injured) so I hope you will be ok, and you are right on with your info about tylenol and NSAIDS.
