Totally! I've been known to start something though...
I only start stuff with my bible teacher, we have different perspectives on certain things, in that where he tends to be extremely closed minded on a subject I'm more open minded on it, so I'll just ask a question that will slightly grind against his view point and get a page and a half email in response.
lol. I used to argue with various "scholars", but I don't do so much any more. I'm more apt to discuss with friends and such. In my old age I've decided it's not worth my time and energy to debate. Especially in the bible forum on this site. I'm terribly curious now, what grates on your bible teacher so?

Well he is my friend too, so it's all good. But he is a huge Pre-trib rapture guy, and has (or at least he thinks he has) everything about the end times figured out.
Ahh, yes. My mom is pre-trib, and we've gone rounds about the subject. I figure it doesn't really matter when the Lord comes back. The point is he's going to show up, and when he does, I'm going with him.
