But they also don't make me sneeze and cough, or my eyes water and swell up... nor do they need a litter box.


(At least I hope not. If I find any messes in the Chia's drip tray... He's going to have to find another home.)
 
Well you named it Cheeks... And I don't know how a chia pet is made, but I assume there's potting soil in there some where... You might just find a little brown pile.

So far the worst thing that happens is that all the seeds keep sliding off his back and into a pile at the bottom of the drip tray... So I've had to give him "massages" twice a day to try to put the seeds back into place.

I guess you could say I'm rubbing my Cheeks daily.

That awkward moment... When you're trying to explain an awkward moment.
 
The awkward moment when you realize you just caused a derail of the awkward moments thread and you're not one bit sorry for it. :p
 
I really enjoy (and I am being sarcastic in case it doesn't come across) the times when I am in the grocery store and I think someone asked me a question so I answer them and then they give me a funny look because they are talking on their phone and not talking to me at all.

So awesome.
 
That awkward moment when................. I threw a penny into a fountain and made a wish. Suddenly the penny flew up out of the water back into my hand - and why? Because I wished that a small fortune would come my way.

Next time I will wish bigger!!!

This isn't entirely the same thing, but a few years ago, I was out for a run. It was a perfectly fine day. Out of nowhere here comes the clouds... and like a torrential downpour starts happening behind me. I was still a half mile from my house and needless to say I did not outrun it XD. Someone actually stopped to offer me a ride, but I finished the run. -_-
 
That awkward moment when you get back home from picking up ice cream last night, catch your own shadow out of the corner of your eye, and nearly go into ninja mode. I was laughed at and had to share ice cream. Idk which was worse. :(

One time I was boogieboarding at Huntington Beach and I wanted to go out past the breakers like the surfers do so I paddled way out there without fins and then turned around and realized the current or tide swept me out further than I thought and i started to panic. It was late in the day and no lifeguards were on duty anymore, plus I wasn't with anyone. I used to boogieboard everyday after work.. so I was all alone out there. I started paddling towards shore and praying and I was inching my way back and it seemed to take an eternity and I was worried my legs might cramp but they didn't and I finally made it back to the beach about half a mile from where I was before... I actually came onshore at Newport Beach! I was profusely thankful to God too lol.
 
That awkward moment you come back from the doctor's office after getting a complete physical check-up and then promptly slip & fall hard on the treated wood bridge outside your apartment because it's slippery as heck in a thunderstorm, bang yourself up real good, break your finger in the process and then have to go to the ER to get a splint put on.

That was me on Tuesday. :p

I took my nephew in to drop something off at work and the cute guy in the office thought I was a mommy.....no matter how awkward that was, it was very flattering especially when he offered to help me out to the car ;)
