The awkward moment when a friend texts me and writes, "I need to talk to you about something that's been on my mind for a while," and then sets up a time to meet me after work.

It's not so much awkward, but it's definitely nerve-racking because I have no idea what they want to talk to me about.

If I never sign on again, know that I have been killed.

If it's a female friend or a married male friend, prepare yourself to lend a helping hand... if it's a single male friend, he wants to open his heart to you (meaning... he wants you)!! Be ready!! ;)

Or there has been a piece of toilet paper stuck to your seat all day, you couldn't see and he just wanted to not embarrass you at that moment and tell you later about it. We can come up with a thousand options, just go with God, and a security cop and it will all work out....relax. Besides would it be so bad if he did quote: "want you." unquote...smile. How big is your security cop?

one time, my mom needed to talk to my good friend to give her a message to give to her mom.

mom: melita, tell [person] i wanna talk with her.
me: *goes to friend. all serious face* hey... my mom needs to talk to you right now.
friend: ............ why?
me: idk. she just said she needs to talk with you. i guess it's something important. *keep serious face*
friend: oh.. ok.... O_O

comes back

friend: melita you goober! you had me scared!!!
me: hahahahahahahaha
 
that awkward moment you tell your boss a joke,

and he doesn't appreciate it.

lol i'm so funny. it's not my fault he doesn't understand me. lol

Not entirely sure how I feel afterwards, but, I made it :D
 
That awkward moment in the middle of an interview you realize your not qualified for the position and you are 90% sure the hiring manager just realized it as well ...Ughhhh.

Whopps! Kinda depressing though but ...

Been there. In my case, it was partly their fault for not writing the posting carefully. Hope you find something for which you are qualified soon! :)

Thanks Dino...they really don't write clear job descriptions with my company. I am trying to get to that next level in my company so I assumed there would be bumps in the road.
 
That awkward moment when your company needs you to be there on corporate inspection day but THEY gave you the day off in the schedule and you already made plans...

Hey if I'd known in advance that day was going to be inspection day I would have mentioned it to THEM before I made plans and they know it. (But I hope I hid the exultation in my voice when I told them I already made plans.) :rolleyes:

And I know I posted about this in Streams. But I realized it really belonged here because it really was very awkward.
