That awkard moment when you fall asleep after getting home from work, and you wake up thinking it's morning rather than evening... For the second time in three days.

I've done that when I was on the overnight shift. I jumped up at 12 noon thinking it was midnight and thought that I was late for work.

That awkard moment when you're in the store, it's completely quiet, and your shoes squeak loudly throughout.
 
This happened yesterday.

I went into a gas station to buy beverages. When I got to the cashier -

Guy: *says something and Melita wasn't paying attention*
Me: huh?
Guy: anything exciting happen today?
Me: ...... I'm alive.
 
That awkward moment when you drive the church bus to almost the next town down the highway and the person you were supposed to pick up isn't home. No text message, no nothing.

Normally I would concur but I've known these people for years and they are not normally given to being rude - or rather, thoughtless - like that. Makes me kinda worry what's wrong.

Still was a bit awkward honking the horn, texting, knocking on the door, nobody home.
 
That awkward moment when there's a break in at a restaurant in the plaza you work, and you have to spend your entire morning talking to police.
