That awkward moment when.................. you're about to write an "awkward moment" post, but then you get an idea for another post in another thread, and you're torn between which post should be given first priority, and you end up over-analyzing the whole thing and writing out a really long and practically useless post.

Yesterday morning, my mother walked in on me dancing in my underwear. I didn't have time to explain to her that it was biblical and that I was moving to the worship music blasting out of my headphones. She left the scene, mumbling something like 'Oh, no it's okay, dancing is healthy!'.
I really hope she wasn't thinking that I was practising for my audition to become a stripper or something...

that awkward moment when I was a teen. my mom walked in my room to round up dirty clothes, to find me in my underwear with headphones on, playing air guitar with a baseball bat in front of the mirror! Of course she walked out laughing!

After you're done grocery shopping, you walk out to your car and see all of the snow stuck I'm the tire wheel. You start kicking the snow o of, look up and realize it's not your car, there is a person in the car looking at you like your probably some insane maniac .
You then walk as fast as you can to your car and leave as quickly as possible. There are way to many navy blue Chevy impalas.

You're driving and a huge spider starts crawling across the windshield...and you realize it's on the INSIDE of your windshield. I could not get off the highway fast enough.
You give away a sweater to your younger sister only to receive a text a few days later of her boyfriend dressed up in said sweater for a work Christmas party, and a text that he's getting a lot of compliments on it. Not sure if it's more awkward that she regifted it so quickly or that he's pulling off a lady sweater.

Seriously, why do the tiniest cuts bleed so much and not stop? I'm not even trying to be metophorical (though it could certainly work that way).

Was there a panini maker on the counter? Was this the deli at a bathroom (didn't type that wrong either)?
Yes, because it's always important to have a bathroom that doubles a deli. But that would get shut down by the health board very quickly, and I would applaud that decision.
Hahaha yep cole slaw.... no panini maker and definitely not a deli. I work with 2 mentally disabled young ladies... it was easier to dump it it the toilet than take it outside I suppose.
I also would applaud the closing of a restroom deli

That awkward moment when you're sitting in church and suddenly you get the urge to have a good cry, just to let stuff out, so you can return to normal; and you make a mad search around the building trying to find a breakdown room, only to find the room the mothers take their fussy babies to... I ended up having to restrain my sobs.
Another awkward moment was also at church, and my cousin was carrying my baby. Someone who hadn't seen my cousin in a while asked if I was the Mrs.

While shopping in Walmart of all places a very very old man stops me and says ... ooooooohhhh look at you looking good.... mmmm.. look at all that.. you nice looking young lady. .. While looking me up and down.... and the awkward moment when my face turns as red as the hoodie I'm wearing and I can't think of anything to say so I stutter something unintelligible and quickly walk away....
