That awkward moment when my coworker who has returned to work this very morning after having been hospitalized (ICU) for meningitis say, "I feel like I might have gotten brain damage from that." AND I just look her honestly in the eye and say, "You might have, but it is probably too soon to tell." And she cries and thanks me for not candy coating.
This is the woman who was raised by a violent single mother alcoholic and who doesn't cry at nuffin. Well, almost true, she will cry when she is mad enough to wield a weapon against someone... only this time she wasn't mad.

That awkward moment when you're fairly certain that someone sent a memo out to the spiders last night telling them my address and to come and say goodnight because there were THREE of them in HALF AN HOUR.

Right before bed, too, so my mind was on the creepy-crawlies as I tried to fall asleep.

That awkward moment when........... I wish I had spiders in my room when I am sleeping, so they could bite me and give me awesome powers like that superhero, what's his name...................... is it Web-Boy???
 
That awkward moment when you're at Bible Study (this happened Monday) and you're trying to open up a bottle of water but just can't get it and someone ends up asking you if you need help. I'm such a weakling haha

That awkward moment when your husband calls to see how things are going, and asks what you're doing, and you can't lie...

So you say, "Fixing the washing machine."

And there is such a long silence that you say, "Uh...hi?"

And finally, in a scared, quiet little voice, he responds with, "Please stop before you somehow knock the house down...please?"

So you explain that it's ok, you're using the right tools, and WHOA, he's suddenly very loud as he says "ARE YOU USING MY TOOLS?!"

So then you sigh and say of course, because you've somehow lost the few tools of your own, and he fires you. But it's invalid, because it's after 5 p.m. and therefore after hours, and you don't accept.

...I lost a screw driver, too, so THAT conversation....I think I won't be there for it.

laffin my buns off here...you kill me lil. You better get yer'self a roomate who's a female body builder that's like 6-5 so she can reach things for you too. I'd hate to see you trying to climb on a chair to get anything or change a light bulb. lol

haha light bulbs I can do actually. I just changed a light bulb without calamity about a week or two ago lol but anything else? Gooood luck :P
