that awkward moment when you first join facebook and realize that you and your mother must request permission to be friends
 
that awkward moment when i was was reading a thread so furiously trying to catch up that when i got to something that made me chortle, I was dismayed that i needed to hit refresh to get the Like button back on the screen... then realized it was My post. :P wow.
 
That awkward moment when.............. your neurosurgeon tries to comfort you pre-op by saying "How hard could it be, it's not brain surgery!!!"
 
That awkward moment when you start looking at the middle of a thread with months-old posts cuz your life was so busy when everyone was posting at that point and you click the "like" button repeatedly, and then wonder if the like-ees will think you're stalking them :D!
 
That awkward moment, when you have to admit in front of a lot of people, that you can't find your deodorant... Not that I'm worried about that here, no one can smell me, lol.
I had to use perfume instead...
 
That awkward moment when you are totally relaxing and
as you look out the window you see a friend pulling up
into the driveway and your house is a mess.

...the awkward moment when ... a beautiful woman is smiling walking towards you, and you smile back in expectation ... and she walks past you into the arms of another person; or is just saying 'hi' to a friend ... moannnnn....

...how totally embarrassing...

...and the song by Pink Floyd 'Wish you were here' starts ringing in your ears...

...totally lost for words...

...the new male version of 'Joan Sutherland'..., to a marriage proposal...

...turned out to be quite a moving experience...

...I really liked it...., well the ending really.... ;)
 
that awkward moment when...

You stay the night at a parent or sibling's place and they give you the couch to sleep on and they forget to tell you they are having company bright and early the next day........ (i release you to your emagination...i have lived this so i don't need to)
 
That awkward moment when.............. at a grocery store you're asked "Paper or Plastic", and you respond "How about Gucci or Prada?"

(Hey, I need to look fashionable at all times, even when carrying home my Count Chocula cereal and cottage cheese!!!).

that awkward moment when the important men doing important things commandeer all the resources.
that is to say, when my brain puts all else on hold for a single train of thoughts that must be thought through to the end.
