Later in the day they complained when they got ripped off at the snack bar. They weren't smiling then. Hubby was very anal and complained that his pickle on the burger was limp.

That awkward moment when you receive two replies to some comment you made on some youtube video so long ago that you don't even remember what you said...

That awkward moment when you try to comfort a suicidal depressed person on CC but haven't gone through any real suffering nor have any experience in Bible study...

...I know how that feels like...

The awkward moment I go to a Father-Daughter dance and my friends and my own father are trying to set me up with a single 28-year old father. o.O

Love is in the air... everywheeeeeeere I look around

What, one year age difference was too much? :p

When you tell a friend about how you're so emotionally reserved that you'd probably have to reassure someone you were dating that they were doing well and were keeping your interest and your friend responds, "That's like something a robot trying to relate to human beings would say. Never say that to another human being."

HHahhahahahahahah!

That awkward moment when you take out the trash and you see a man standing next to his car waiting for something and you don't know if you should look at him or not.

Your friend has been watching too much of Data on Star Trek. :p

Actually, I'd rather like that kind of verbal feedback. It's hard enough to try to get used to acting human without having to guess what others think of me. I'd much prefer them to tell me direct.

You realize a professional colleague you knew from about 10 years ago just landed a high profile position within your company via a LinkedIn notification so you take a moment to look them up in the company's internal instant messenger system and say "congratulations so glad to hear your working here now ...would love to catch up sometime when your free" and they respond with " Thank you"

Umm ok...so no catch up then....

Sounds like the person stopped reading after "Congratulations".

*Mad gleam in eyes and broken smile*

That awkward moment when you know you at least have a case.

You know that feeling when you first meet someone very special and your heart skips a beat?

That awkward moment when it's probably arrhythmia and you can die from that.
