the awkward moment when you hear tires screeching on the street in front of the office, and hear a crash, so you run to the front door without realizing a patient is about to walk in, so they get kinda scared as they open the door and see you standing there.

Okay sky, this is ridiculous. Despite shineyourlight AND jsr having both said MULTIPLE times that she was just joking, and that she does NOT have a fiancee, you keep repeating yourself by saying "report to us if it is real." Shine has stated several times here that she was joking and does not have a fiancee. For some reason you choose to overlook her comments. What have I told you about thinking first, THEN deciding to respond or not? No offense, sweetie, but you stick your foot in your mouth quite often.
You need to learn what posts to respond to, and which to ignore altogether. You also need to learn to start using the ignore button. It's there for a specific reason. 
As melita stated, sometimes you need to go back a few pages and catch up on things so you know what you're responding to. Not doing so can cause big problems..
That awkward moment when you hold the door open for someone and not only do they refuse to say thank you, they also deliberately go out the other door instead.

It's very rude and it has happened to me on more than one occasion. I would appreciate you letting me hold the door open for you and hearing you say thank you. I'll take flirting (harmless flirting) over rudeness any day. lol

I'm sorry, bro. We're in the same boat. Thankfully it's not the Titanic.
Everyone: I was going through a hellish time a few months back, some really, really dark secrets and sins (adultery, fornication, abuse) came to light concerning the leaders/facilitators of a house church group I used to attend. Needless to say, that group is now down the crapper (and good riddance!) We were very close though, like family. The lies, the sins, the crap, the spying, the accusations from others - it all became too much and I couldn't think straight. I was angry at God, at many people in my life and at life itself. I found it difficult to trust anyone, besides family and my very closest friends. But then I went to a healing service at my church (even though I really didn't want to be around people). And there, I received prayer. Circumstances didn't change, but my mindset started to.
In that time I received some great advice: No matter how dark life gets, you have to allow time to do something you enjoy, to have those moments of joy. Otherwise, you're robbing yourself of life and you will drive yourself insane with sadness. I found that so helpful.
With the tears of hurt and anger and frustration rolling down my face, I came to understand, sure, there's all kinds of evil in this world, and yes, we should do our bit to minimise it and support friends/family/strangers in need. But in all of that, we can't neglect our need for hope either. I hope this helps someone.

Have been reading along with this for quite sometime. Kept wanting to interject based on past experiences. So grateful, now, God showed me my self-centeredness and held me in check, and I think I understand some things a bit better now. Father in heaven, I join my prayers with violet, and thank you, Lord, for your grace mercy love longsuffering and peace we have WITH you, and the peace we have FROM you that we can share with our brothers and sisters in Christ. And Father, we thank you for the JOY that you WANT us to have as our Saviour Jesus told us, ... 'In the world, you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world'. And Lord, help us to remember that we all go thru times where the pains seem to outweigh the joys. Help us to forgive AND be forgiven, and let our lightheartedness, humor, KIDDING AROUND be seen as a sign of the joy we have that you love us, our sins are forgiven, our eternal destiny is secure, and the joy we shall have with you, Jesus, and each other, is forever. So let us give to each other joy as an encouragement, and let others see that and be drawn to you, Jesus, to God be the glory. And Lord, there are such beautiful women here and in the body of Christ, can I please just maybe have one for me? Preferably a drooler? Thank you, Lord.
