One possibility is that there was a transcription error that mistook the short form for Zechariah (Ζριου) for Jeremiah (Iμιου). Transcription errors have happened before in some publications, most notably in history an edition of the bible wrote "thou shall commit adultery" instead of "thou shall not commit adultery."

I find it impossible that the Holy Spirit would guide and teach the Apostles to in fact, guide and teach Gentiles and Jews alike to follow the Law of Moses.

Acts 15:29 NLT - "You must abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. If you do this, you will do well. Farewell."

And then we see the correction in 1 Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 8:10 NLT - "For if others see you--with your "superior knowledge"--eating in the temple of an idol, won't they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol?"

The Acts 15 quite cannot possibly be correct, for the idea is corrected in 1 Corinthians.

Acts is written to Theophilus. It may be the case that Theophilus specifically should avoid those things, but that Paul describes the general rule in Corinthians about idolatry being borne in the heart and not by action alone.

Really? The two accounts of Potters field and who purchased is totally, TOTALLY different.

And I agree with what else you've said regarding those disagreements. How can we say that the Bible is infallible if the Apostles couldn't agree?! LOL - It's crazy! And how about the fact that the early Apostles were literally teaching new "believers" to follow the Law of Moses? That . . . is just insane, considering that Jesus (the Nazarene which means to Set Apart) sets us apart (free) from the Law? Jews are no longer to follow the Law, and Gentiles no longer follow the Moral Law that has been written upon the hearts of all people (including Jeffrey Dahmer, Gary Ridgeway, and Adolf Hitler). Jesus sets us apart from these Laws, yet as mentioned, the Apostles were trying to figure things out themselves, and actually taught people to follow it . . . just unbelievable. Of course, I don't think that most even understand these things, because most don't read their Bibles and when they do, they don't try to even understand it.

Yea, I get what u r saying. I think what some say is the accuracy of its recording is infalliable, although I disagree with that also. And yea, Paul and the others had major disagreement about teaching the law. You are on the money with that.

A lot of people have been taught, and have believed for years without exploring other possiblities or ideas. They become ingrained in their thinking. I think it is a result of their personality, a lot of insecurities

Just because different writers present different aspects of the same event does not mean that there was an error or a mistranslation. So since you brought this up why don't we try to harmonize the accounts.

1. In Matthew we read that Judas cast down the thirty pieces of silver in the temple and went and hanged himself (with no further comment). The chief priests refused to take the money back but purchased the potter's field with it, so that "strangers" (presumably non-Jews) could be buried there (similar to Boot Hill for outlaws in the Wild West). And because it was blood money, the field was called Akeldama (the Field of Blood) in Aramaic.

2. Mark simply states that Judas went to chief priests to betray Christ.

3. Luke says that Judas went to the chief priests and captains, and they covenanted to give him money.

4. John says that the devil put it into the heart of Judas to betray Christ. So after Christ fed Judas a morsel, Satan entered into him, and Christ sent him on his way to do what he planned to do. (Jesus knew all this in advance).

5. In Acts Peter said that it was Judas who purchased the field. But that would simply be because the money belonged to Judas. However Peter also said that Judas fell headlong and burst asunder in the midst of the field, and his intestines gushed out. Therefore we must conclude that after Akeldama was purchased, Judas heard about it, went to visit it, hanged himself in that field (presumably from a tree standing there), and when he died he fell to the earth and his abdomen was injured very seriously (perhaps impaled by a sharp rock).

when cops interogate a suspect who is actually innocent, they often find contradictions, apparent that is, When they interview the guilty party, often he has gone over his story so much it has none.
So the true story, with apparent contradictions, needs more details to provide the answers to the apparent contradictions.

while I dont think it is infallable, like the so called Lords prayer is different in some texts, I think the errors are minor. But also, some of what is said isnt true. But that doesnt mean the Bible didnt record it accurately.
Exxample, papers report Biden saying he is not a crook.
The papers arent lying, but what Biden said still is.

Hence, some of what the apostles said may not be accurate, in face we know that Paul and the others had some major disagreements.

But what I dont like also, is when people get nit picky about things, like one word in a whole paragraph. Hell, we dont even know if its accurate in its translation. Some things simply CANT be accurately translated from one lang to another. BUt the main part of it isnt in error. The essential part, Jesus dying, rising from the grave, and providing grace and salvation, that is what we r suppose to spread.

I agree. it is a possible contradiction that wouldnt shake my faith one iota, in fact it would strengthen it. But it was also explained to me that he hung himself, and after some time of bloating, he fell and his guts burst out.

I hear you. In my opinion, people simply believe what has been given to them because they do not Truly Fear God. When someone Truly Fears the Lord, they instinctively drop all preconceived notions and seek out the Truth for themselves.

I suggest that all would study what I can to be the "Triangle of Truth" and use these three sets of Scripture as the Backbone of their understandings, study them and know them, and then read the entire Bible in a timeline, chronological order. Doing what I have just suggested will likely result in the beginning of a Romans 12:2 Transformed Life. See the image and link below (to anyone who wants to take their Faith closer to the Truth).

and ALL of Jesus commands were positive ones. He never said things like, thou shalt no murder, or fornicate, or steal. His commands in order of importance were, Love God, Love your neighbor, and spread the good word. OT = negative, thou shalt not,,,NT = positive, thou shalt, Love God, love yur neighbor, spread the good word, help those who need it, (good samaritan), turn the other cheek,

the judgement of Jesus will be whether we believed Him and accepted the Holy Spirit or not. Not about our sins. Our sins have already been forgiven, paid for, all of them, past present and future. Once forgiven, by Gods own definition, it cant be held against you.
And you say the same thing in the following part of your post :

Peter was wrong about other things, so if he did seek forgiveness, it was wrong. BUT, you are assuming he did. You cant build your theology on something like that.

Indeed you can dear brother and indeed you are.

James says specifically in Acts that these abstentions are "because Moses is read in every place" in other words James was just as careful as Paul was of offending the consciences of those weak in the faith. The abstentions in James' letter are by way of concession not arbitrary
