Firstly , thank you for your reply . I had no idea that Katie Hopkins is now calling herself a comedian that , in itself is very funny because , she isn't ( funny ) ! I don't keep up with politics much , it's all a bit irrelevant to me , I belong to Jesus , it makes no difference to me ,which country I'm from or live in etc , though I am grateful to live here . I didn't choose my parents , I didn't choose where I was born , none of those things were, or even r now , in my control . God is in charge of me and He can put me anywhere He wants to but , I will always belong only to Him , through Jesus Christ my Sinless Redeemer .
I'm still surprised by how many Christians , from wherever , it doesn't matter , get so worked up about the things pertaining to this life / this world . It really really isn't our home ! We r like the Levites , we have no inheritance other than God . We don't own anything , we r owned by Him who has saved us and our reward is to b with Him forever . We mustn't allow the dirt and grime of these kingdoms of men to stick to our clean white garments

The freedom of speech we enjoy here was not intended to allows anyone to say anything, at anytime, it was to allow that which is right, good, Godly, to be said.
Letting a government determine what is right, good and Godly misses that mark.
We as citizens not standing up when we should have allowed us to lose some of this blessing, yet there indeed seems a spiritual shift right now back to Him.

My grandad ( who fought in WW2 and was a P.O.W. in Burma , always used to say that people can think anything they want to , and say anything they want to in their own homes , but God is everywhere and God is love and , He hears every word and every thought . Hate is of the devil .

There are thousands and thousands of threads here discussing the Word. As of course there should be. That’s not what this thread is about.

I simply responded to you because you made claims that you didn’t back up in responding to my post. You certainly didn’t have to respond at all. That was your choice.

This thread has nothing to do with whether or not Katie Hopkins is a saved Christian or not.

It’s about how Europe in general, and the UK specifically, has sunk into a troubling state of a lack of basic freedoms.

Hopkins was just an example of how bad it’s gotten. There are tons more examples.

The left-wing agenda, with its nonsense about migration, gender, and climate, is pushed through by all parties except for one genuine conservative party in most cases. These genuine conservative parties, which still stand for traditional values, are defamed by the other parties and the MSM as right-wing extremists and “Nazis,” even though this is absurd, of course. This genuine conservative part is around 30% everywhere. There would usually be many more people who don't think what they say is bad, but the propaganda is so enormous that many don't vote for these parties because they don't want to be “one of them.” I recently wrote about the EU here in another thread. Hungary seems to be the only country where a stable conservative government has been in power for some time. Unfortunately, Hungary is also in the EU and has to deal with this issue. In France, however, discontent is growing and Le Pen could have a real chance. But they are being harassed massively. In Slovenia, the election of a conservative candidate was recently annulled by the EU (!).

This is just how insanely bad it’s gotten in Britain. The police show up at this family’s house, insist on seeing their daughter’s phone, ENTER the house without permission, threaten to ARREST her daughter, all because she simply viewed a social media post!!!

Doesn’t say how they knew she viewed it. But there needs to be drastic action taken by the British citizens to stop this true fascism.

As for the arrest of people in the UK for praying silently, it reminds me of the book of Daniel where Daniel is arrested and thrown into the Lion's den (a den of lawyers?) for praying in his home.

In the event that the British citizens do not stop this I think we can all pray that the Lord Jesus will show up and stop this. In the meantime for those tossed into the lion's den let's pray the Lord shuts their mouth and for those tossed into the furnace of fire let's pray that the Lord goes through that with them.
