Everyone please stay in prayer about the Philippines.
The hurricane has slowed down, and is moving very slowly.
This means it won't do as much wind damage,
but it wil dump lots of rain, and possibly create severe flooding and mudslides.
It will also be over the Philippines for several more days.
Some parts of Samar island have already had 17 inches of rain.
That's enough rain to do massive flooding if it collects in the wrong place.

Been raining steadily for more than 12 hr since this morning where we are. Slowed down a bit this afternoon, but now pouring more strongly.
my daddy was a missionary in the Philippines after the 1st typhoon hit he went up there and excuse my spelling he has been to abrua not sure of the exact spelling

Thanks all. Heard of this remote town in eastern samar where the broadcasters first said they had to take some boat rides too to get there, but Relief operations ongoing. Something from reliefweb:
