The Gospel is a movement of God and no one can stop it

Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Think about Charlie Kirk, his faith was spoken of throughout the whole world. Think of Billy Graham, same thing. But then think about Christians, it used to be it was a tiny sect of Judaism and only 1% of the world's population was Jewish. But now over a billion people all over the world are Christians. This was our assignment, to go into all the world with gospel. Think about this blog, over 800,000 have read it. They could be all over the world. Iran and Russia are both seeing a Christian revival right now. In China the underground church is also going strong. I am a member of the Gideon's and they have distributed over 2.5 billion bibles worldwide and are in 200 countries. The full Bible has been translated into 700 languages and some portions of the Bible have been translated into 1500 to 3,000 languages. Let us begin our understanding of the gospel here, first of all. Gamaliel said that if this movement were not of God it would come to nought and if it were of God you could do nothing to stop it. Clearly the gospel is a movement of God and no one can stop it.

9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

God is our witness, we have prayed, and labored to send the gospel out into the four corners of the earth.

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; 12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

This is also true, the protestant reformation began in Germany with Martin Luther. It went to England and then it went to the US. Prior to Martin Luther we had the Gutenberg Bible which helped paved the way for the gospel to have a prosperous journey. From England and the US the gospel went out to the entire world. Now Europe is the one that needs to be comforted. In England and Europe they arrest people who pray or preach in public. So although churches in Africa, India and China were established by missionaries from England and the US we now need saints from those nations to comfort us with their mutual faith.

13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. 14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Paul came to Rome as a prisoner. Think of the church today, we are debtors to Martin Luther, Charles Wesley, Hudson Taylor, JN Darby, John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, the people who first printed and published the Bible, Brother Lawrence, G.K. Chesterton, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Foxe's book of Martyrs, Watchman Nee, etc. The Old Testament is almost exclusively Jewish history, but Church history involves the whole world.

Proof that you have been forgiven by the Lord

15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Every church, every nation, every new believer can bring new life to the Body of Christ.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

This is a major departure from the Old Testament which told the Jews not to learn from the Gentiles. The reason for this is "the power of God unto salvation". Pagans are involved in witchcraft and the occult. However, the power of Jesus Christ is greater than that of any demon or fallen angel. As a result we do not need to be ashamed, we can go into all the earth triumphantly because at the name of Jesus every knee must bow. Paul is a debtor to Greeks and Barbarians, not because of what they had in the flesh, but because of what they received from the Holy Spirit after they were saved and regenerated.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This is what he is seeing, righteousness of God is revealed to him from faith to faith. When he meets someone he thought was a pagan destined for hell get saved and come to faith it reveals more of the righteousness of God. Prior to Jesus' crucifixion the salvation of God was not revealed. People did not see that the just, in any nation, would live by faith. Make no mistake, the gospel is that all can come to the Lord, regardless of your parents or how you were raised. The Jews no longer have a monopoly on God or on the word of God.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

This is where the gospel in Christianity is deficient. Paul has come to the wrath of God after only 17 verses. The wrath of God is integral to the gospel. Perhaps you don't want to lead with hellfire and brimstone, but by all means it may be necessary to arrive there in the first five minutes. The fact that men are trying to hold down the truth in unrighteousness is very important. It makes sharing the gospel into a competition like football. Everything you are trying to do the enemy is trying to stop you from doing that. This makes it much more interesting and captivating for unbelievers. Do not fall into the trap of thinking "can't we all just get along". That would be like thinking that the Chicago Bulls need to get along with the New York Knicks. That is not going to happen. The battle is over the truth. We are battling to speak the truth concerning Jesus Christ and they are battling to hold down the truth in unrighteousness. Very often the reason people don't know God is because they don't want to know God. I used to think the problem was my gospel, if I only had the right words to speak. It was a great revelation to me to realize it is not my job to convince anyone. If you are a witness in a trial no one judges you based on whether or not the jury decides one way or the other. Your only responsibility is to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Unbelievers are always full of excuses for why they can live in sin and still not face the wrath of God. They will blame their parents, they will blame their church, they will blame the way they were raised. But the truth is nothing your parents did or your church did or your teachers did will determine if you go to hell. You will only be sent to hell for what you did and the fundamental reason is that you rejected Jesus Christ. If people were so terrible to you then that should be a strong reason why you would accept Jesus Christ. Instead think of it this way, you have committed terrible sins, you want to blame someone else for this. Instead receive Jesus blood which He shed to pay for your sins. Now if He can forgive you then surely you can forgive those who sinned against you. Now if you forgive those who sinned against you it will strengthen your faith in Jesus, proving that He also has forgiven you. That will be your message, it will be your calling, to let those ones know you have forgiven them.

When you show mercy to those who have wronged you and forgive them it is proof of salvation that no one can debate or argue against.

The Rapture is when those who profess themselves to be wise become fools

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

The Rapture is when those who profess themselves to be wise become fools. When I preached the gospel I was told repeatedly that this person was too wise for Christianity, they saw it as a crutch for the weaklings, and so if you needed a crutch then that is fine, but they were strong and wise and did not need any crutches. This is very similar to the people mocking Noah, telling him they didn't need a boat because they knew how to swim.

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

The rapture is when men of flesh are changed in the twinkling of an eye into the likeness of the Son of God. Everyone should fear, God knows the hearts. Those that desire to be made into the likeness of the Son of God will believe in the Son, Jesus Christ. Those who want to make God into the likeness of corruptible man, birds, beasts and creeping things, well they will spend eternity in such a hell.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

There is no wisdom that is against God. You think you are so smart, be careful you don't have to eat that pride for eternity.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Vile affections. A man courting a woman can be a beautiful thing, but these ones have turned everything into something vile and repulsive.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

God desires to fill your heart, but it is up to you.

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The rapture reveals those that love God, but at the same time it also reveals those who have been given over to a reprobate mind.

The Gospel of God is the path that leads to freedom from sin and judgment.

Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

The gospel of God is that all have sinned, all have fallen short of the glory of God. We don't wink at sin, we don't hide our eyes, we don't make excuses. However, Paul learned that his self righteousness had blown up in his face when he discovered that he wasn't serving God, he was persecuting Jesus. The ten commandments are there as a standard, exposing us, that we fall short of that standard.

2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

So this is a fine line that we walk. We are all sinners saved by grace, we are being renewed day by day, we are being filled with the Spirit, we have a renewed conscience, and from the day we got regenerated we are to walk this path that leads to life. However, even though we are not in a position to judge others God is. The law that condemns others condemns us as well. The gospel of God in the book of Romans begins with us all being condemned, and this judgment is of God and is according to the truth. God is love, He has paid for our sins, but that does not mean He ignores them. Jesus had to die on the cross to pay for those sins, that is proof that God does not ignore them, nor condone them, nor excuse them.

3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

There are many, exceedingly many people who think this and even teach this. FreeMasons teach this. LGBTQ+ churches teach this. New age teaches this.

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Yes, God is love, yes, God is good, He is merciful, He is forgiving, but that is done to lead us to repentance. Paul was consenting unto the death of Stephen and yet he was forgiven. He was shown mercy. Paul was self righteous thinking he was serving God by imprisoning and killing Christians. The Lord was longsuffering to him, but that was to lead him to repentance. If you are a murderer, or a thief, or a liar, or an adulterer or self righteous, you can be forgiven. But that forgiveness is to lead you to repentance. If you are truly repenting there should be fruit worthy of repentance. God showed you mercy when you had sinned against God, you also should show people mercy who have sinned against you. If you have unforgiveness in your heart, if you have a root of bitterness, that is something you need to repent of. During my life I have made a number of blunders which have cost me a lot. Only God can know for sure but conservatively I would say they have cost me tens of millions of dollars at the very least. I have confessed, I have repented, and I have come to realize in the grand scheme of things that is trivial. When viewed from eternity those losses are nothing but dust in the wind. I take that same attitude towards those who have sinned against me. I forgive them, I forget about it, and although the offenses were real and harmful, in the end they are trivial. When viewed from eternity they are nothing but dust in the wind.

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Righteous judgement is "as you have done it will be done to you" and "with what measure you measure it will be measured to you". If you are merciful and forgiving to those who have sinned against you then God will also be merciful and forgiving to you.

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Are you focused on eternal life? Are you focused on our life after the resurrection, after the judgement? Is your concern that at that point you would have glory and honor?

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Why are people so contentious? They think every perceived slight is huge. They make mole hills into mountains. Why do people obey unrighteousness? Your boss tells you to do something that you know is wrong, you know it is illegal, so why are you doing it? It is because they value the present day judgment over the judgment of God. They view their boss as being bigger and more important than Jesus Christ who is the Lord of all and king of kings. Why do people do evil? Why are they robbing banks and killing people? It is because they value money and things of this world above the things of God. Their treasure is here on earth rather than in heaven. And what does "respect of persons" have to do with all this? The fact is that cults teach their followers that they are special, they are better than everyone else. FreeMasons teach them that it is OK for them to commit sins. We have heard conversations of some Jews and some elites that common people are there to serve them. The Catholic church tells the members that if they simply confess to the priest what they do and say some hail Mary's then it is OK. You can be a Mafioso and as long as you confess to the priest it is OK. A catholic priest, a rabbi, a worldly king, none of these people are respected by God and none of them have the power or authority to wash away your sins. The only one that God respects is Jesus Christ, He respects the blood of Jesus. Saying hail Mary's does not wash away your sin, the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, that is the price for sin. The only way you can be forgiven of your sins is if your testimony is that "I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me".

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Everyone on earth knows it is wrong to murder someone, it is wrong to steal stuff, it is wrong to lie, and adultery is wrong.

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another)

We all have a conscience and we all are sinners. Those that desire to sin will find a way, regardless of the law. They will make excuses. Meanwhile those that heed their conscience will keep the law even if they don't have a law written down. No one taught me to avoid snakes, I always had the sense to avoid them. In the same way you will hear people at work joking and telling stories about sinful behavior. There will be a natural revulsion. Some will heed that and others will make excuses. They always claim "they are just joking". But I always thought "why would you think this stuff is funny?"

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Do you realize this is a major part of what the gospel is all about. The gospel is like a lawyer taking the case of a person who is guilty and letting him know we do have a path to freedom.

The volatility in silver, gold, the stock market and the bond market can be likened to "the perfect storm". Think of the volatility as huge waves and powerful wind, there will be a lot of ships that are capsized and sunk in this storm (bankruptcies). Prior to the Lord's crucifixion He flipped the tables of the money changers. Today the money changers are changing local currency into US dollars which is accepted everywhere. However, BRICS has been set up as an alternative and we are seeing massive selling off of US dollars from both China and Japan. We are seeing over 50% of the world switching to a gold backed security from the US dollar. We also saw Jesus curse a tree that did not have fruit on it and the same day it was cursed the tree dried up and withered from the roots. Money is a source of all sorts of evil. Flipping the tables of the money changers will also dry up the funds to all sorts of evil. When you have the printing press to print money it can fund all sorts of evil. Remove that printing press and make gold the standard and all that spare money going to evil is cut off.

We can liken the rapture to the crucifixion when Jesus said "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" That will be the cry of those who are left behind.

Therefore this volatility that we are seeing coupled with the release of Epstein documents and all sorts of other evil like the fraud in Minnesota being revealed is what we will see right before the rapture. We should expect to see the collapse of the US dollar and the prosecution of the pedophiles. Jesus told the disciples if they had faith they would say to this mountain to be taken up and cast into the sea. This reminds us of Matthew 18 where we are told that the judgment on those who abuse children is like a millstone being tossed into the sea.

The gospel is all about the circumcision of our heart.

Romans 2:17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, 18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; 19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, 20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

This was the case for Israel when Solomon was king. This was also the case for the US after WW2. If a nation embraces the word of God and teaches it to their children as we did then they will become a shining example of the blessing of God to the rest of the world.

21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

But then after WW2 the US dollar became the reserve currency. This was because we had all the gold, Europe had sent their gold to us to buy supplies for the wars. Once you have the printing press for money you will be swarmed with parasites trying to suck your "blood". We were like a big fat cow after WW2 and since then we have been covered with parasites. I suspect that when the truth is told we will learn the entire $39 trillion debt of the US went to the parasites. Without them we would not have a debt right now.

22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

I heard someone describe the Super Bowl as the Super Baal. The idol worship, the devil worship in the US is in your face. It is evident at the Grammies, at the Oscars, and at the Super Baal. Rock and roll pushes sex, drugs and devil worship.

23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

The US claims to be a "Christian nation" but recently they have been dishonoring God.

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

The world calls the CIA the "Cocaine Importing Association". The reason the muslim nations call the US the "Great Satan" is because it is our weapons, our bombs, and our drones that kill innocent people on the ground in those countries by the hundreds.

25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

Think of circumcision as a wedding ring with God. We have a covenant with God and that is the sign of the covenant. Now a woman who has a wedding ring, that profits her if she is a faithful wife. But if she is an adulterer having the ring is worse than not having it. Without the ring she is a fornicator, with it she is an adulterer.

26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

Which is more important to the husband, that his wife wear the wedding ring or that she is faithful?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

If a husband were to catch his wife in the act of adultery which is the bigger offense, the act of adultery or the fact that she wasn't wearing the wedding ring?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Joshua 1:11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it.

From the Passover to the entering in of the good land it all takes place within three days, that is 3,000 years. Now there are many ways to interpret this however, Hosea 6 lets us know that after 2 days the Lord returns. He left on the day of ascension and He will return in the clouds in great glory after 2,000 years. The beginning of the third day is the beginning of the millennial reign of Jesus. So then if Jesus was crucified in 32 AD we would expect Him to return in glory prior to 2032 AD. This verse should be associated with Hosea 6 and also with Jesus saying that "this generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled". In understand that to mean prior to Israel becoming 85 which would be in 2033 AD.

Joshua 2:1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

This would be a picture of the church age. Everyone in the church is repentant sinners, we are in a house hiding God's spies, and we have a scarlet thread in our window just as the Israelites put blood on the doorpost during Passover. This is also a picture that during the start of the tribulation we will have "spies" inside the government that are helping the truth to get out. Think of Epstein Island and the corruption in Minnesota.

Joshua 3:15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,) 16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

This happened during the pandemic. A river signifies the economy. During the pandemic there was a global shutdown, the economy stood up in a heap. This allowed many believers to have much more time to focus on the Lord. I was a teacher, we had remote lessons. I had already created all my lessons for the internet so the amount of work for me was half what it normally was. In addition I did not need to drive to and from school, that saved me at least 90 minutes a day. In addition my online classes only met every other day. All the other teachers were creating online lessons, I had already done that. So that saved me another 12 hours a week. I spent the extra 20 hours a week diving into the word of God, paying attention to what was happening in the current events and looking at Bible exposition and prophecies. Even though unbelievers may have used the extra time differently, the point was God's people were on the move and the spiritual significance of that event was God assisting his people to make the transition from the church age to the taking of the good land.

The Real Power of a New Creation Dream 2-3-26@1:21 AM & 6:19 AM Shared 2-6-26

The Gospel in Romans is consistent with a Loving Father

Paul begins by focusing on sin. But which sin? Not murder, not stealing and not adultery. No, he focuses on the flesh, particularly homosexual sex. Now we have learned that although they have estimated that it was as high as 10% of the nation that was homosexual they later came out and realized that number was greatly exaggerated, the real number is between 1-5%. So this is a sin that 95-99% of the people think they are innocent of. But then Paul pointed out that the sin is having sex without the purpose of procreation. Wow! That means if you use birth control, or any other practice that is not going to result in possible procreation is the same! So the sin that 95% of people think they don't commit all of sudden they must reassess.

Romans 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

We should look at Romans this way. Paul is laying out the gospel. What advantage is there to beginning with sin? What advantage is there to starting with a sin that 95% of the people listening will assume they are innocent of only to learn they are guilty? The real attack is on pride. The real attack is to puncture that arrogant attitude that "I'm OK, if you are talking about sinners you are talking about someone else". But suppose I am a Jew, I trusted in the fact that I had a covenant with God, that is the point of circumcision, it proclaims that I belong to God. Now I learn I am a sinner, and will be judged for those sins. OK, but some will then feel like they were cheated, they misunderstood their covenant agreement with God. The same today refers to anyone who thinks they are a Christian because their parents were, or because they grew up going to church. The same also applies to those who may be Christians but have believed the "Once Saved Always Saved" doctrine: that it doesn't matter if you live in sin, if you prayed twenty years ago you are saved for eternity. Some are taught that salvation is a life insurance policy, you pay once and it is good for eternity. Now they learn that if you live in sin you will be judged for the sins you commit. So then, if that is wrong, what is the advantage of being a Christian?

2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

The word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword. It has the power of life in it, resurrection life. It can renew your mind and transform you. The first thing a saved person needs to appreciate is that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the word of God. When they pray and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, they need to know that Jesus Christ is the incarnated word of God. The word of God has the power to transform you into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God.

3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

Yes, you can look at "Christians" who are living in sin. You can see tele-evangelists who were criminals, living in sin, they were hypocrites, wearing a mask and were really sinners disguised as saints. But why would that person cause you to not believe? Why not look at Paul, or Jesus, or Peter, or many of the other genuine saints throughout the church age who believed to great effect? No one is going to make a counterfeit "monopoly money". Why? They are going to make a counterfeit of real money like the US dollar.

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

The fact is that God is true and God told you to beware of false prophets who come to you as sheep but inwardly are ravenous wolves. God told you to judge a tree by its fruit. For example, Paul said that we are to pick pastors based on their wife and children. You look for those who have raised their family well. Today no one does that, they look for Pastors who can preach a good sermon. So you are asking to be deceived. You are looking for professional actors, not genuine saints. Which is a much truer test of how you are as a shepherd, a 45 minute sermon or taking a look at your family that you raised the last twenty years?

5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

The fact that so many people, "good" people, fail this test of raising a family simply commends to us the righteousness of God. When you find a man who has raised his family well you should take notice. This test is so difficult I don't believe anyone can pass it without God's help. Now some can pretend to, some can act. Some of these rich and powerful families know that their "union" is performative and they play their roles in this performance well. So there are other tests as well. The elder must give hospitality so that people can see the home for themselves and he can't be seeking filthy lucre. There are people who can put on an act for the goal of money or power. But no one can perform 24 hours a day. Everyone needs a sanctuary and the home is that sanctuary. If people are two faced you will see that when you live in their home.

But then there is the second argument, I heard someone once tell me "they do not believe that a loving God is consistent with the Book of Revelation". In the book of Revelation we see a third of all the earth is killed, including humans. In fact over the full seven years it is closer to two thirds of all people are killed. God so loved the world in John and now in Revelation two thirds of people are killed? So I would ask this question, is the birth of a baby consistent with a loving father? When a baby is born the placenta is tossed in the garbage. If you think of the earth as a placenta to bring forth the children of God, then this is consistent with a loving father.

Jesus is glorified when a person who was formerly a sinner is transformed into the image and likeness of God

Romans 3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

This blog is a summary of the Bible references on the rapture. God judging the world is a major theme of the rapture. Judgement is not simply a judge saying "your guilty". When someone receives the gold medal at the olympics that is a judgement. When the judge says "not guilty" that is also a judgment. Anyone who thinks God can say "not guilty" or that God can give a reward or a crown, but can't judge sin is foolishly unaware of the irony in that. It is like the whole "participation trophy". Once everyone gets a trophy the trophy is meaningless. If no one is guilty then being told you are "not guilty" is meaningless. Either you believe God can judge or He can't. To teach that God can judge "not guilty" but He can't judge "guilty" is idiotic.

7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

This is another argument some bright person came up with. These arguments look like a fish flopping around on the dock. So let's explain this. People ask "why would God forgive me, I'm a terrible sinner?" The answer is that Jesus Christ is the savior and He is glorified in saving sinners. Think about the story in the movie Seabiscuit where the owner is looking for a horse trainer and he finds this guy who is healing a horse that was about to be put down. The owner asks if he will be able to race and he says "no, not this one". He asks "why did you do it then?" He says "because I can". This is a wonderful animal, he can do a lot of things, and you don't just throw away a whole life because it has been knocked around a little. That is a picture of why Jesus saves us. He does it because He can and because He knows that once we are transformed into His image we can have a valuable function in the body of Christ. Jesus is not glorified by people who go around sinning, living in sin, murderers, thieves, liars, etc. He is glorified when a person who was formerly a sinner is transformed into the image and likeness of God.

8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

The foundation of the Gospel

Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

This is another attack that those who preach the gospel hear, "you think you are better that us" or the accusation of being self righteous. Our message is similar to saying "there is a cure to AIDS, Jesus is the cure, and we all had AIDS". No one is "better", rather some are sick and some are being cured. AIDS is the sickness, HIV positive is the infection. You can be cured of AIDS and still be HIV positive. This is why Christians will say "there but for the grace of God go I". We all know that we could have died of AIDS, but we got treatment from Jesus. If we stop that treatment the HIV could come back as AIDS.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

In yourself, in your natural man, in the flesh there is none that doeth good, everyone is unprofitable. Many people find that hard to believe. A lot of people claim to "have a good heart". I liken this to the crusades. People thought that they had a "good heart" to go and force people to become Christians or die. How much harm has the Crusades done to the gospel? I like to say all the worst ills in the world are done by those who claim to "have a good heart". The heart is deceitfully wicked. People in Germany followed Hitler because he restored national pride and led them out of the great depression. Most of the people who supported Hitler did not support the Gestapo or the concentration camps. But their support for Hitler translated to support for those things whether or not they knew it. In the US, if you are a taxpayer your taxes support everything the US government does even if you don't know what that is. It is very likely that the US does many things you would not support, but you don't know about it, and so you pay your taxes and you become a "useful idiot", an "unwitting supporter". Islam is trying to bring in a kingdom ruled by "God" on earth using warfare of the flesh. This approach is always going to be unprofitable. However, they are not going to listen to Christianity tell them it is wrong, after all Christianity had the crusades. How is Islamic extremism any different than the Crusades?

13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

This is the stunning fact. Look at the hatred they spew. It is so clear from Youtube that they are trying to stir people up to hatred on both the right and the left.

14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

TDS is called "Trump Derangement Syndrome". We have people who do nothing but spew hatred and cursing for Donald Trump every day. Before he was elected there were people who did the same only their target was Joe Biden. We should be thankful to God, blessing others, not cursing them. I am thankful that God gave us Joe Biden as president because it caused many to go to their knees in prayer to God. I am thankful that God gave us Donald Trump as president because it also has caused many to go to their knees in prayer to God. Neither Joe Biden nor Donald Trump is going to bring in the kingdom of the heavens, but if they can motivate Christians to pray, then that is something to be thankful for.

15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:

It is stunning to me how quick their feet are. When Jussie Smollett claimed to have been lynched in Chicago by "MAGA supporters" anyone with common sense would have questioned that, but not the Main Stream Media. They were swift to condemn. When Jacob Blake was shot in Kenosha Wisconsin in 2020 the NBA and Lebron James were swift to condemn the police. This sparked riots. Anyone with common sense would have asked the police questions as to why they shot him first. How many times do you allow the MSM to manipulate you into condemning others before you learn and slow down and check the facts first?

16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:

What is the result? It is destruction and misery. These riots destroy the city where they riot and that causes misery to the people they are supposedly supporting. I was in Queens and Brooklyn when all these ones were calling for social workers to replace cops. I had family in Vermont, wealthy family members, who supported this policy. I told them I didn't know anyone in Queens or Brooklyn who wanted cops replaced by social workers. I attended a church with over a thousand members virtually all were people of color. We had many members from the poor to lower middle class, very few if any who could be called "wealthy". No one wanted to get rid of the cops.

17 And the way of peace have they not known:

We need our eyes opened, if you open your eyes to see you will immediately see that the whole world is motivated by selfish greed. Everyone is out for themselves, and as a result they will never know the way of peace. This really hit me in the face when I was in Taiwan. In China bribery is an accepted way of life. It was blatant, it was brazen. In Mainland China if you are an important official then you will use that position to advance your family's fortunes. You will get your children promoted to positions they are not equipped to handle. This happens in the US, but in China this is the way it is. The level of corruption is so widespread it is the normal.

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

This is the heart of the matter. We should teach the Bible in school, particularly we should teach the fear of God. If people saw that righteousness is "as you have done it will be done to you" and then we went through historical examples like the crusades will usher in Islamic extremism it would go a long way to causing people to fear God. A reverent fear of God is a foundation of the gospel. When I was 12 years old I was thinking about what I wanted to give my life to. Almost immediately I realized it all depends on whether or not God is real. If at the end of your life you must appear before God to answer for the things done in this life, then that completely changes how you are to live.

Satan needs to fear, we are redeemed, thank God!

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

This word "now" is very important. If you have followed everything that Paul has said to this point, then "now you know". The law was given to the Jews not because they were righteous, not because they were better, but in order to shut them up. The purpose is that the whole world would be convicted of sin. You cannot receive Jesus as a savior unless you realize you are drowning in your sins and need a savior.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Most people can see that they are sinners and that all people are sinners. That is relatively easy to see, but then they stop. The law is there to convict you of sin, not to show you a way of salvation. You can't be justified by the deeds of the law. It is crystal clear, atonement is not justification. Every single year there is an opportunity for a reprieve that lasts for one year. The law is there to help you define and identify your sin so that you would know that you are a sinner. It is not a path to salvation, it is a tool for convicting you of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

But here is the thing, with or without the law of Moses men around the world can see the righteousness of God.

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

The path to salvation is faith in God. Abraham had faith in God prior to the law being given and it was accounted to him as righteousness and it is the basis for God making a covenant with Abraham. You do not need the law to have faith in God. The law is not a requirement for salvation.

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Every single person has done things they are ashamed of. This is true of Jews and Gentiles. This is true of people who have read Moses and those who haven't.

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Every single person on earth understands what it is to pay the price for sin. This is why people sin against you, so that you can understand, you can empathize. Moses talks a great deal about paying the price for sin, but even without Moses everyone understands this. If you steal $5 from me you need to pay me back. If you repent and confess to me a month later that you stole the $5 it isn't good enough to give me back $5, you should pay me $10. However, if you rob my house and the police catch you and then you go to court and we have to prosecute you because you refuse to confess, well then you will pay more, maybe 5x what you stole. However, if you come to me a month later and say "sorry, I took this $5, I feel terrible, here is $10" then that should fully justify you and I should forgive and forget.

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

OK, too many do not understand propitiation, or remission, or forbearance, or even redemption. So let's go through these terms:

Propitiation -- This refers to the mercy seat on the ark of the covenant. Every one of us sinners needs mercy. That mercy is available to us in the form of Jesus Christ and the blood that he shed. According to God's standard we are failures, we need mercy. But this is what Jesus provides.

Remission -- This means to pass over, ignore, let it pass, disregard. I come to the mercy seat, I did something wrong, I am asking for mercy, I know it was wrong, I know I need the blood and I know that it is up to God, will he disregard it or not? Well God sees the blood of Jesus on that mercy seat and He realizes the sin I committed is trivial by comparison and so He disregards it. However, if I do not show mercy to others but rather treat them cruelly for some trivial sin they commit against me, well then God is not going to disregard my sin. Now it is no longer trivial. My treatment of the other person shows I don't really reverence the sacrifice Jesus made for me. God may not care about the sin I committed, but He sure does care about my insulting the blood of Jesus.

Forbearance -- This means tolerance, patient longsuffering. Many people misunderstand God's forbearance thinking that God does not judge people for their sins. What is happening is God is giving people a chance to repent. Think about the crusades, how long has it been? Christians had plenty of time to repent, but instead what have we done? We fly overhead with drones bombing funerals and killing a lot of innocent civilians.

Redemption -- Everyone knows what this means, but we just don't use this term. We say "buy". If I buy a house it belongs to me. However, most people don't pay cash for a house, they get a mortgage. So even though you "bought the house" it doesn't belong to you. When you pay off the mortgage now it belongs to you, because you have "redeemed it".

We belong to Jesus because He has redeemed us. This is a great thing. Suppose Satan attacks you. In that case pray "God, I belong to You, Satan is attacking something that belongs to You, are You going to just sit there and do nothing?" Now this better be true. It better be that you do belong to God and not that you only say this when you need His help. But if it is true, if you belong to Jesus, and your car and house and all that you have belongs to Jesus then Satan needs to fear. If he lifts his hand against you or anything you have he is lifting his hand against God.

"You can recognize me?" "Yes, and we give God the glory!"

Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

There is a purpose that God has set forth Jesus as our propitiation, our Mercy seat where we can come to plead for mercy. It is a public declaration of God's righteousness. A Christian being transformed from a sinner into the image and likeness of Jesus is a testimony that God justifies those that believe in Jesus.

When I was a senior in college I was meeting with a bunch of Christians from Campus crusade and as we talked it came out that they recognized me from when I was a freshman before I had gotten saved and baptized. I was surprised and I said "you can recognize me?" This brother responded "Yes, and we give God the glory!"

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Boasting is what characterizes religion, science and cults. Everyone is seeking for some advantage, something that gives them an advantage. Faith is different, faith is when you confess that Jesus is the advantage and it is all of Him and nothing of you.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Therefore refers to the fact that there is no boasting. Jesus is the savior, not you yourself.

29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

Many people will say that Jesus is a "Jewish God" or they blame the patriarchy, they try to insert racism or sexism into the discussion. But God created the world and all that is in the world. He created all the races and He created the sexes. The Jews covenant with God comes from Abraham believing God. If Abraham can believe God then so can anyone else. Yes, the Jews are the chosen race and Jesus was also the chosen one. He was chosen to be the spotless lamb that would be sacrificed for all. When I was younger I was amazed at the Jewish history. I did not care for my families history, did not care that much for world history, but Jewish history, that amazed me. I wasn't jealous, rather it helped me see God's hand. The Jews are a chosen people, held up for the rest of the world to see so that we could see God's hand.

30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Circumcision was given as a sign that they had a covenant with God. Children are circumcised when they are eight years old, this is before they are able to choose to believe in Jesus for themselves. They are not justified by being circumcised, on the contrary they are given a sign, from their parents that they belong to God. They were not justified by being circumcised, rather they were justified by faith. But if you are not circumcised there is no confusion, you are clearly justified by faith. However, how did you come to Jesus? The kid who is circumcised at 8 days old was born into a family that had a covenant with God. Your family didn't, so there is no confusion about when you were saved, it was obviously when you first had faith in Jesus. The question is how did you come to this faith seeing that your parents were not covenant people. So what Paul is doing is not presenting two different salvations, rather he is pointing out that whether you grow up in a family of believers or not, either way you need to come to faith yourself in order to be justified. How many people when asked if they are a Christian assume they are because their parents and grandparents were Christians? If I look at the Jewish history it is amazing, you can see a God moving in their lives. But the same is true of the uncircumcised with their testimonies of how they came to the Lord. So Paul is saying everyone is saved by faith, no one is saved because they were circumcised as a baby and everyone comes to the Lord through faith, this history of the Jews coming to the Lord in the Bible is similar to the experience of someone who is uncircumcised coming to the Lord.

31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Faith makes the Old Testament real to us. Abraham is our father by faith if not by DNA. Everything that happened in the Old Testament is written for our edification and as a warning to us. That is because their experiences become our experiences in the spirit.

So then what was the Law? It was a tool to expose our sinfulness. But now it is also a tool to show how people have been transformed as a result of coming to Jesus. Others can see the change in us and that will establish the law.

Justifying the ungodly

Romans 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

The gospel is woven into the entire Old Testament, and the single figure who is the central figure for the Jews is their father Abraham. He is the father of faith, not the father of the law.

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Abraham did not do anything to prompt God to say that he was accounted as righteous, rather it says "he believed God and it was accounted as righteous". Our salvation is a glory to Jesus Christ, if you did something to be saved then you would get the glory. We did nothing, Jesus did it all.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

This is contrary to all other religions. We are not required to do anything, the one thing we must do to be saved is to believe God.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

Satanists have to do things, they must make sacrifices, they must "make a deal with the devil" and then they must "keep up their end of the bargain". Satan will give them fame, he will give them money. You see this temptation of Jesus when Satan tells Him he will give Jesus all these things if He will worship him. Satanists are rewarded based on a debt, but Christians are given salvation by grace, not by anything that we did.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

So many Christians do not understand "justifieth". Some think that they are given a universal "get out of jail free" card that they can use over and over. That is not "justifieth" that is some kind of exemption from justice. If you robbed $1,000 from a store, and now you confess and repent and pay them back $2,000 you could say you have been "justified". The Judge looks at this crime and decides it is paid in full and therefore the record is expunged from the books. Not only are you free to go but there is no felony on your record. However if you go out and rob another store for $1,000 that crime has not been justified.

There must be confession and repentance. Suppose some man who is a Christian has a problem with online pornography. Estimates are very high as to how many have this problem. So you confess, you take the Lord's blood, you are forgiven. But now there must be a repentance. For example, if the problem is pornography on the computer get rid of the computer. You can argue that "no I need the computer". OK, for what? Chances are you don't really "need" the computer. It may be helpful in some ways, but nothing you can't come up with a work around. Also this does not mean "forever". The Lord will lead, the Lord will decide. What it does mean is that you may have spent four hours a day on the computer. Now you can spend four hours a day in the word of God, in prayer, in fellowship and in worship. Every minute you spend your mind will be renewed. Think of the Spirit within you as a very small and weak seed. You are caring for this and it is growing and getting stronger. Right now when the temptation to look at pornography comes along that seed is not strong enough to stop you. So you get rid of the computer until it is strong enough. A year later that seed is a sapling. Three years later it is a full grown tree.

When I got saved I moved into a brothers house, I burned my rock and roll albums, and the house I moved into did not have a TV. I was a sophomore in college and spent the next three years in the word, in prayer, in fellowship and in doing my school work. During my senior year 3 mile Island happened and in one of my classes it came out that I had not been following this story since I didn't have a TV. The professor was shocked. I said, OK, what is it that I should be doing that I haven't been doing because I wasn't following this story? 3 mile island was about 2,000 miles away from our college. The answer was nothing. Everyone was glued to their TVs, terrified by what they were hearing, and the answer was there was absolutely nothing you needed to be doing. If you do not watch the news for three years you will miss a few big stories. In many cases that will have absolutely no impact on your life. Meanwhile the time spent in the word and in fellowship was transforming and renewing me day by day.

Some people are bothered because they read the Bible and don't remember anything. I read something Watchman Nee shared, he said that when you wash rice you strain it so that the water runs out. In the end you don't retain any of the water but the rice gets washed. It is the same with the word of God and your mind. I realized this firsthand. I would get extremely depressed. My cure was not drugs, I would start reading the Bible at Galatians 1. By Galatians 6 I would feel fine in a mild case of depression. The most extreme case of depression I had it wasn't until Colossians 4 that I felt fine. But that is what I would do. I would start reading and five minutes, ten minutes, maybe at most 30 minutes later I am fine.

Recently I was stunned to learn how many people are on prescription drugs in the US. I am almost 70 years old and I don't take anything. This surprised my doctor so I went home and googled it. It is about 90% of adults my age are taking prescription drugs!
So let's return to the topic at hand. If you have a problem with temptation, every time you go on TV or on the computer you get defeated. Simple solution, throw out the TV and computer. We are vine branches, Jesus is the vine tree, every branch that does not bear fruit is cut off. If it does bear fruit it is pruned so that it would bear more fruit. For example, spending time in the word bears fruit. I was spending 90 minutes a day commuting to and from work. So I got the Bible on CD and listened to the Bible as I drove to work. I remembered just about nothing. But when I got to work and when I got home I was mentally balanced, on an even keel, not anxious, not depressed, not fearful. Also you can't help but have the word get into you.

This is how the Lord justifies the ungodly.

What does your ledger look like with the Lord?

Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

No verse is of its own interpretation. Paul quoted verses about Abraham in Genesis, now he is going to Psalms and quoting David. It is significant that he focuses on both Abraham and David because the Bible promises that the Messiah will be descended from these two. That is according to the flesh. But Paul is showing us how their experiences match and confirm the gospel of salvation to all of us. These two men are very important to Jews for a confirmation of the gospel, but having the same experiences as Abraham and David is how the uncircumcision will also be saved through faith.

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

All of Christianity emphasizes that our sins are forgiven. Iniquities are the things we have done. These are forgiven and forgotten, the same way a stain on your shirt is washed away and then forgotten. However, we are still sinners, that is our nature. So our sins are covered. In the previous post I described "covering" my sins with four hours a day in the word of God, in fellowship, and in prayer. When I first got saved I attended six meetings a week and in addition to that usually went to someones house for a meal and fellowship each week. Wednesday was the prayer meeting, Friday was a Bible study, Saturday morning was a service meeting to take care of the meeting hall, Saturday night was a young people's meeting for college kids, Sunday morning was the main meeting and Sunday night was the Lord's table where everyone shared testimonies of the things that happened that week. All of this time spent in the word and in fellowship was like a very heavy lid on my sin nature. We understood either the mind is on the flesh or it is on the Spirit. It is up to me, I can place my mind on the Spirit by going to one of these meetings, or by reading the Bible or by listening to worship music, or by praying. Or I can place my mind on the flesh by watching TV, going on the computer, etc. Regardless of what choice I make both people have the sin nature, one has put a heavy lid on it and one has released the sin nature to roam free. Now to "impute" sin is to reckon like an accountant who keeps a tally of assets and liabilities. This is what is rarely if ever taught in Christianity. The Lord imputes sin. That is what the bible says. If you spend four hours a day on the TV there is a record of that. It is not on a "naughty list" no, the record is kept in your brain. Those four hours will give you an unredeemed brain. In Romans 8 Paul calls that "the mind of the flesh". Ultimately it becomes a habit. You will walk in the house and without even thinking about it the TV is turned on or the computer is turned on. That is "the mind set on the flesh". Likewise if you spend four hours in fellowship with the Lord then that is "the mind of the spirit" and ultimately that can become a habit and so it is "the mind set on the spirit". Not only so but we have a promise "whatever a man sows that shall he reap". If you spend four hours watching TV you are sowing seeds that will spring up. On the flip side if you spend four hours in fellowship with the Lord you are also sowing seeds that will spring up.

When you get "saved" you should realize your mind is like this field. It is overrun with noxious weeds and poisonous things. Get to work. Turn the soil, dig up the rocks, and sow seeds to the spirit. I understood that by flooding my field with seeds from the spirit they would choke out and overwhelm all the seeds from the flesh. I couldn't prevent these seeds from blowing into my field, just driving down the street or talking to someone at work. But I could overwhelm them and in one year I would have a field of corn. The next year it could be twice as good, with much fewer weeds, the third year even better with almost no weeds. My goal was to have a very long list of spiritual assets and minimize the list of sinful liabilities.

Do not be naive, we have a spiritual ledger with the Lord.

"Cut it off" -- the Father of Circumcision

Romans 4:9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile when it comes to renewing the mind. When you sow corn into a field it doesn't matter if the farmer is Jewish or Gentile, what matters is the seed. The word of God is the seed and it will grow in us regardless of whether or not we are Jewish.

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

In fact, Abraham was not even circumcised when he was reckoned righteous. Jews are circumcised at 8 days old, so David was circumcised long before he came to faith. Samuel came to faith as a very young boy, but even so, he was already circumcised. So Abraham is an example of a guy who was uncircumcised coming to faith, and David is an example of a guy who was circumcised coming to faith.

11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

Now when Abraham came to faith he was given the sign of circumcision, and that was a seal of righteousness of the faith. When you spend time in the word like I described in the previous two posts your heart gets circumcised. Before you were too weak to resist temptation, now you resist it frequently, often without even noticing. Something that was a brick wall to you before is now a speed bump.

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

Now think about this, Abraham was the "father of circumcision". You can be the most sinful, ungodly person. You get saved, believe in the Lord and because you fully understand how sinful you are and how bad it can be, you do everything in your power to cut off Satan. You live with saints, you get rid of evil influences from the world like the TV, like the music, like the computer, and you immerse yourself into the word and into fellowship until you become "the father of circumcision". I love the story about Ronnie Lott. He was a safety for the San Francisco 49ers. He mangled his pinky in a game and they needed to put it into a cast. It would take weeks to heal and so he was going to miss the playoffs. He asked the doctor "what if I amputate it?" The doctor didn't understand the question. So he explained "If I amputate the pinky can I play in the playoffs?" Cut to the chase, they amputated his pinky, he played in the playoffs, later he was inducted into the Hall of Fame and they should call him "the Father of Circumcision".
