What will happen to Hollywood after the Rapture?

7 Concerning Edom, thus saith the Lord of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?

Edom is the twin brother of Jacob. They were not identical twins, they were fraternal twins. Both were story tellers, men of the book. Edom was a "man's man". Think John Wayne, or Clint Eastwood. He was Robert Redford, or Rambo, or even Tom Cruise. For many years Hollywood displayed a certain wisdom. Many of the movies were painstakingly done, revealing the wisdom of many people. Even the movies that were over the top like a Tom Cruise movie revealed the capability of technology and military special ops. Even movies that seemed absurd, the science fiction movies, often revealed what was coming. But today it is as though all the movies are now simply formulaic rehash of what they have already done.

8 Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him.

What is the "calamity of Esau"? If I asked "what is the Calamity of Hollywood" then everyone would chime in. Well it is the Purge, it is Hunger Games, it is a zombie apocalypse. It is all the apocalyptic movies describing war in the US, it is Red Dawn.

9 If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. 10 But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.

Hollywood is spoiled. The current trial with Diddy is revealing that. We are learning about all the secret places, they can't hide, and we are seeing how corrupt they are. Not just the actors, but everyone involved in that industry.

11 Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.

Hollywood portrayed itself as a "man's man" but here we see all the men are dead. We see fatherless children and widows. They are the only ones who will be preserved. We will remember the early era of Hollywood, but what we have now, that will all perish.

12 For thus saith the Lord; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.

Think of Harvey Weinstein. All the rape and sodomy and debauchery is coming out and it will all be punished. With what measure you have measured it will be measured to you.

13 For I have sworn by myself, saith the Lord, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

Bozrah was the chief city in Edom, it would be analogous to Hollywood. The name means "sheepfold" or "fortress". Those are the two key themes in Hollywood. You have all the children's movies like Disney, and you have all the action, adventure movies like the Westerns.

14 I have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.

Take a look, Harvey Weinstein trial, P. Diddy Trial, Epstein Island, all these things are causing the Heathen to despise the Hollywood elites.

15 For, lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men.

The most despised person in a prison is someone who abused children.

16 Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the Lord.

All the Hollywood elites dwell in the clefts of the rock, they hold the height of the hill. They are about to be brought down.

17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.

The movie industry is about to become an astonishment to all.

18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.

What will happen to the Main Stream Media?

19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

The name of this military operation against Iran that Israel launched early this morning (their time, it was yesterday our time) is "like a lion".

20 Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

Teman is the son of Eliphaz, you remember him, one of the three friends of Job who was rebuked by God. They are noted for wisdom. Edom represents the story tellers in the Media. Of course Hollywood is one example, that would be Bozrah. But the other example is the Main Stream Media with their talking heads. Think of Walter Cronkite. They are gone, in their place we have fools who did not realize that Joe Biden was senile. They no longer question, they no longer think critically. They call looting and rioting "mostly peaceful protests". They think they are clever, but they are fools. Every word is recorded and they are shown to be lying hypocrites repeatedly. The first thing we need to know about this operation that Israel is doing in attacking Iran is how the MSM were useful idiots in causing Iranian leaders to "sleep".

21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. 22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

The Lord is likening the fall of the armies of Pharaoh in the Red Sea to the fall of the MSM today. Right now in the US we are having a coordinated riots across the country. The MSM is portraying this as a grass roots response to Trump. But Kash Patel is following the money and proving that this was a psy op. The MSM is about to be fully exposed and they are terrified. Already their ratings are in the toilet, this is the death knell to them.

What happens to the CIA?

23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

These are three main cities in Syria. Damascus refers to a sackcloth weaver, Hamath to a fortress and Arpad to "I will be supported". Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city and there is a prophecy that it will become a ruinous heap immediately before the rapture (that is my interpretation). For someone to wear sackcloth it depicts mourning. To be a sackcloth weaver is like someone who builds coffins, or a city whose industry is to cause mourning. A "sackcloth weaver" would be a good nickname for a hit man. A fortress indicates this hit man is well supported. Think of the CIA as the hit man and the FBI as the fortress. These are the cops that protect the hit man from getting caught. Then "I will be supported" would refer to the deep state. The entire network of influential bureaucrats, judges, elected officials, etc. that make sure these agencies get their funding and don't get investigated. Right now they are fainthearted. They have heard tidings from Kash Patel, and from Dan Bongino, and from others that they are also going to be exposed and turned into a ruinous heap.

24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.

How do you "wax feeble"? Generally the term "wax" means to get bigger, stronger. This word is first used by Moses' wife when she complains he is a bloody husband. Then it is used by the task masters in Egypt saying the Jews are idle. Moses tells us in Deuteronomy that God will not forsake us, another use of this word. And God tells Moses to "let me alone that I may destroy them", another use of this word. This is what is happening to the CIA. They are toxic. All of a sudden no one wants to be associated with them, no one takes their calls. People forsake them which is the sure sign they are slated for destruction. They are viewed as a "bloody husband". It is like the scene in the movie where the spymaster has failed in his mission and the easiest way to deny knowledge of this is to kill the spymaster.

25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

Think of all the movies glorifying spies and the CIA. Yes, they have done many evil things, but the ultimate mistake they made was to touch the city of praise, the city of the Lord's joy, the church.

26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.

The CIA did a lot of questionable things, perhaps illegal things. But they were operating in a world that was very rough. It is like asking someone to be a mud wrestler without getting dirty. It is an unreasonable request. But then the CIA, instead of wrestling with swamp creatures, they decided to go after the church. Big mistake, and I am sure in heaven we will be able to hear the full story and it is going to be a really great story for us. We will be filled with praise and joy for what our Lord has done.

27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

Hadad was the god that they operated under. Think of the CIA having a god and 007 is the son of that god, hence Benhadad. If you prefer you can consider Tom Cruise the son of that god. They have palaces. Tom Cruise is worth $600 million. The people involved in this stuff are quite rich with very impressive palaces. Think of the Palisades fire as a warning shot concerning what is coming. In Lahaina, Hawaii all the homes of common people were burned up while the mansions of the elites were left untouched. It seems this was some high tech weapon that can burn up houses and if you paint your roof blue you will be protected. When the truth comes to light all these palaces of the elites will be consumed, either figuratively with lawsuits, or literally with the fire of God's wrath. Now this fire is kindled in the "wall". The "wall" that protects the CIA is "classified" documents. The government classifies everything and when it is finally forced to release some document it redacts the whole thing. However, that fire is already kindled. The JFK assassination, 911, and Area 51. They have been unable to put those fires out and the longer they burn the more absurd it is to not declassify. What are they afraid of? They know that once one lie is exposed it leads to a second and third and ultimately a huge bonfire.

What happened to Gaza is a warning to the USA

28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the Lord; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.

Kedar refers to Ishmaelites, these are the descendants of Abraham, the father of faith, whose mother was an Egyptian servant. They are people of the faith who are married to the world. This is what Islam is, it is a faith that is married to the world, and this is what the kingdom theology is among Christians. The kingdoms of Hazor refer to Gaza. This is where the Philistines lived, they were halfway between Egypt and Israel. What we are seeing in Gaza right now is a warning to those who have one foot in the world and one foot in the church.

29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.

If your treasure is in heaven then you would not be concerned about losing houses, investments, all the trinkets people own, and all the cars. Fear is on every side. People can see we are heading to a nuclear war, they can see we have these riots taking place, they can see that AI will take away their jobs, and they can see the layoffs and inflation.

30 Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the Lord; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.

What did they do in Gaza, they built tunnels and they dwelt deep. This is what these ones who have faith to see that the book of Revelation is being fulfilled but have one foot in the world will do. They will become preppers.

31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the Lord, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.

Wow! The US is the wealthy nation that dwelleth without care. You can argue that Saudi Arabia is a wealthy nation, but they dwell with lots of cares. Only in the US do we have houses that don't have gates and bars. Go to Mexico, go to Taiwan, go to any of these other countries and the poor dwell in shacks with nothing and the rich dwell in homes with gates and bars. Also, the US is the only nation that dwells alone. We are separated from our rivals by two large oceans.

32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the Lord.

What happened in Gaza is a warning to America that this is what is going to happen here.

33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.

Hazor is a reference to Gaza, but God equated that to the US. Not the entire land but to the chief cities like NYC and Washington DC. Hazor was a royal city and the name means "Castle". A castle is the combination of a palace with a fort.

What will be the result of this war between Israel and Iran?

34 The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,

Elam refers to a portion of Iran where there ballistic missiles are kept. Zedekiah was the last king of Judah. So the judgment falls on Elam at "the beginning of the end". Zedekiah means "Jehovah is righteous". What we are seeing is righteous judgement. As you have done it will be done to you, and the pit you have dug you will fall into.

35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

The bow of Elam refers to their ballistic missiles. Iran is very foolish. They had to know that as committed as they were to destroying Israel, that Israel was equally committed to seeing that this does not happen. This was really a spiritual warfare, they did not appreciate that God the omnipotent and omniscient defends Israel.

36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

This is what happened to Israel in 70 AD. That was a warning to Iran, what has happened to Israel will happen to you. If you watch a prize fighter destroy another fighter in the ring, that should be a warning to anyone looking to fight him. You saw what God did to Israel and now Iran wants to take on God?

37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

This is righteous. This is what Iran did to others. They used proxies, they did sneak attacks, they financed terrorism. With what measure you have measured it will be measured again to you.

38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord.

A throne is set for judgment. What is interesting is that there is a Christian revival in Iran. Many Iranians despise the Islamic leaders. Imagine how glorious it would be for Iran to become a Christian nation.

39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord.

Because God is faithful. People have prayed for righteous judgment and so it is righteous for the Lord to respond. The nice thing about prophecy being fulfilled is you realize God knew what was going to happen more than 2,000 years ago, therefore follow His advice on what to do, how to escape the coming judgment.

Why does this matter to the USA?

Jeremiah 50:1 The word that the Lord spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.

See posts #14,013 and 14,014, they explain why the USA is the Great Babylon at the end of the age. Chaldeans refer to elite warriors. So this is a word to the USA as a nation and particularly to our military.

2 Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

This will be front page news, and it will be blaring from every news outlet on the planet. The name Babylon means "confusion". Isn't that an appropriate name for the US right now? Bel is their chief idol and it means Lord. Merodach means thy rebellion. Imagine a nation having "thy rebellion" as their god. Yet that is the case with the US, the revolutionary war was our rebellion.

3 For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.

There are only two possible nations that could come out of the north against the US, that would be Canada or Russia. I suspect this will be Russia.

4 In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their God.

I liken the two kingdoms of Israel (the ten tribes were called Israel and the two tribes were called Judah) as the US and modern day Israel. In the US 49% of the world's Jews live. After this attack on the US they will come to the land of Israel, they will go there weeping and they will seek the Lord their God in Israel. We see this in revelation 12, after the Manchild is caught up the woman flees into the wilderness on the wings of the Great Eagle.

5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

God has not forgotten the perpetual covenant, but the Jews in America have. This will remind them that they do have a covenant, a place where they can flee to.

6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.

This is what happened to the Jews when they rejected Jesus as the Messiah. He was the good shepherd but they refused to hear His voice.

7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord, the habitation of justice, even the Lord, the hope of their fathers.

This is history these last two thousand years. Many people debate about who the Great Babylon is. I have provided sufficient evidence to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that it is the USA. However, here is one more point that I didn't mention. When God's judgment falls on the Great Babylon it causes half of the world's Jews to return to Israel.

8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.

The word is clear here, they are in Babylon when it is judged and they are told to remove out of Babylon and out of the land of the Chaldeans.

9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.

Missiles will rain down on the US and they won't miss.

10 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord.

This is another point that I didn't say earlier. Chaldea will be a spoil. What would be the spoil if this were talking about Iraq? There is nothing there to spoil. What would be the spoil if this were the Vatican?

11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls; 12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

The hindermost of nations means last in time. We have five candidates for the Great Babylon. Babylon, Jerusalem, Vatican, London, and Washington DC. Of those Washington DC is clearly the hindermost of nations. Interesting, it says it will be a wilderness (pasture), a dry land (remote wilderness) and a desert (arid land). If you think about the US they call that portion of the US "fly over" land. In this attack the coast lines will be wiped out, that is where 65% of the US population currently lives. If you destroy the coastline of the US then that is what you are left with, pasture, wilderness and desert.

13 Because of the wrath of the Lord it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.

The coastline and major cities will likely be hit with nuclear weapons.

14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the Lord.

There will be a whole lot of nations arrayed against the US. Russia, Iran, N. Korea, China, Venezuela, etc.

15 Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the Lord: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.

Now I believe this takes place at the same time as the rapture. There is no word "rapture" in the Bible, but there is the word "escape" and harpazo. It refers to being snatched out of the way of certain death, like pulling someone out of the way of an oncoming train.

16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

We always like to look for clues for timing. This might be a clue that the USA, the Great Babylon, is cut off at the time of the harvest. There are more clues here confirming we are talking about the USA. "they shall turn every one to his people". That would make no sense in any other country but the US. "They shall flee every one to his own land". That also makes no sense except if you are talking about the US.

17 Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.

This is more evidence that we are talking about the USA. Israel was scattered after 70 AD, the Assyrians can be all those who devoured the Jews (Russia, Spain, and Germany) while Babylon is where their bones were broken. After Germany the only place left for Jews is either Israel of the US.

18 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

How was Germany punished? How was Russia punished? Well that is how the US is going to be punished.

19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.

This proves that we are not talking about Jerusalem being Babylon and we know we can't be talking about Babel being Babylon, and certainly if the Vatican were attacked that would not cause any Jews to come out from her midst and flee to Israel. The only place this makes sense is if we are talking about the USA.

Why does this matter to the USA, part 2

Jeremiah 50:20 In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

This is that day. They are desperately trying to find iniquity, trying to accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing, or of war crimes or of anything.

21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the Lord, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.

Merathaim means double rebellion. Did it ever occur to you that the US is the land of double rebellion? The revolutionary war was a rebellion and the civil war was a rebellion. Pekod means visitation or punishment. For some people in the US this is a land of punishment, think of all the slaves brought across from Africa. For others this is a place of visitation. This is also the land with the most Christians who have been born again. How many times does God have to say that He will utterly destroy the US before people realize it.

22 A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.

The sound of a nuclear blast is the sound of great destruction.

23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

Besides the US what nation is "the hammer of the whole earth"? There is no way that can refer to Iraq, or Israel or the Vatican.

24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the Lord.

A snare is something you can't see, you step into it and you are caught. The crime is fighting against the Lord. So confess your sins, repent, take the Lord's blood and ask for forgiveness if you might have offended the Lord in any way. Even if you have attacked His prophets He can take that as an attack on Himself.

25 The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.

"The Lord God of Hosts" is Jesus Christ. In the land of the Chaldeans indicates we are talking about a Christian nation. Once again, this must refer to the USA.

26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left. 27 Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation. 28 The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lord our God, the vengeance of his temple.

According to the New testament, judgment must begin at the house of God. Since the USA is seen as a Christian nation by the rest of the world judgement must begin in the USA.

29 Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel. 30 Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord. 31 Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.

Which nation on earth is "the most proud". This is why people in other countries dislike Americans, because they are the most proud.

32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.

Take a look at these riots right now, someone is kindling a fire in our cities.

33 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go. 34 Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Once again evidence that the USA is the Great Babylon. No other nation on earth has a large number of Jews and Christians.

35 A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men. 36 A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed. 37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

Wake up, the US is being robbed. The judgement is determined, can't do anything about that. But you can turn to the Lord, confess, repent, and escape the coming judgment.

38 A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

Our idols are in Hollywood and in the Music industry. The US also treats athletes as idols.

Like I said, it looks like the major cities on the coastline will be burned with fire, most likely nuclear.

41 Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

Ironic that they are calling this Saturday "No Kings Day".

42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. 43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

We have all heard the report of them. We know the US is filled with sleeper cells. We know that Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea and Venezuela are all planning to attack.

44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

Come up like a lion is the name of this military operation where Israel is attacking Iran.

45 Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them. 46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.

When the US falls the whole world will cry out. The idea that the earth is moved at the taking of Babylon suggests the earth is hit by an asteroid or else a whole lot of nuclear bombs or both. If it is an asteroid it could trigger massive volcanic eruptions. If Yellowstone erupts then it would explain the US becoming wilderness, dry land and desert.

(She mentions a good point in the beginning, something I also have noticed. Many of those so desperate for knowing "when" the rapture will be are involved in idolatry in their heart. For them, prophecy is like going to a palm reader. Prophecy is to build the church up in faith, not feed your idolatry. What I noticed is that some people react very differently to her ministry than I do. For me I am struck by her relationship with Jesus Christ. I am most interested in her prayer life. I listen to the dreams, visions and prophetic words, but mostly am willing to accept I don't have a clear interpretation of the meaning, and that is fine. I store it away and if the Lord wants to bring something she said to mind then at that point I'll try to interpret. From the very first time I heard her ministry my reaction was that she was out here walking on a high wire and was going to be under withering fire from the enemy. If I am a prophet that was the word that came to me. This sister is a lightning rod and no way she can continue on this high wire without Jesus. Well all of that is true, she has continued and there is no way she could have done so without Jesus. Consider Pastor Dana Coverstone, he came under withering fire, he said how much he wished he had never had these dreams, and you notice he doesn't share them anymore. Well I would think the attack on this sister would be two or three times what Pastor Dana Coverstone had to endure. That to me is the big takeaway, how do you stand under this attack, what do you pray. The lesson is on spiritual warfare.)

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

The reason we have a thousand different interpretations is because people are not heeding this rule. For example, all this attempt to equate Pentecost in the New Testament with Shavuot in the Old Testament. This is a private interpretation. It is based on a single fact, that Shavuot is a count of fifty days and Pentecost also means a count of fifty days. That is one single point of similarity.

However, Shavuot is when they are offering the first fruit of wheat, we have absolutely no confirmation that Pentecost is a feast offering a first fruit of wheat, on the contrary the evidence we are given says it is a New Wine celebration.

On Shavuot we would expect every male in Jerusalem to be in the synagogue or temple at 9am, and that is not what we see in Pentecost. We do not see any Jewish Priest in the account and according to Peter it is 9am the time we should definitely be seeing them.

On Shavuot the most distinctive part of the ceremony is waving of two loaves of bread. There is no mention, or reference of this in the account of Pentecost.

Generally when we come to some situation like this, the use of a word that is unique, we check historical and archaeological records to determine the meaning. According to the dead sea scrolls there is a 50 day count from Shavuot to the Feast of New wine and there is a 50 day count from the Feast of new wine to the feast of new oil. This is considered a valid approach to interpreting the Bible and the only reason someone would refuse to accept this approach is a willful attempt to hold down the truth. Yes, it is only one point, I would never suggest basing an interpretation of the Bible on a single point, especially one handed to you by scientists and historians. But on the other hand if it aligns with the Bible it can be one of many points supporting an interpretation.

All interpretations must align with the word of God. We cannot come up with an interpretation that contradicts the word of God. Therefore we must answer two questions:

1. If Pentecost is a reference to the feast of new wine is that Biblical?

The answer is yes, it is. We are told clearly in the OT that we are to bring the first fruits of our flock and of our field to the Lord. If you grow barley or wheat you must do that, but if you have a vineyard or an orchard you must also do that.

Exodus 23:19a The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God.

2. Why is the feast of new wine not listed in Leviticus as one of the Feasts of the Lord?

Because it isn't a feast of the Lord. The Feasts of the Lord give us the Lord's birthday, His crucifixion, His resurrection and His ascension. Pentecost is not Jesus' birthday it is the Church's birthday. Hence Pentecost is in the New Testament and it is the only feast that is uniquely the church's.

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

The church is the new bottle that holds the Spirit, which is the new wine.
