No one knows the day or the hour
There is no single prophecy which will give you the day and the hour...

More prophecies that don't tell us the day or the hour
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
We know that there will be fallen angels and demons during the tribulation, they will stir people up to hate and to kill. They have done that since the fall of man. However, the Lord is telling us at the end of the age they will have the ability to kill all flesh. This points to the nuclear bomb. You might think that this prophecy was not fulfilled until 1948. But, the first hydrogen bomb was tested in 1952. However, despite many people theorizing this it has been very implausible for a number of reasons that are tangential to this blog. That said, the development of AI has definitely made the possibility of total annihilation of the human race significantly more plausible. So then I would say that 2006 when North Korea got nukes was a significant milestone to fulfilling this prophecy, and if Iran gets nukes we will be even closer. Yes Russia, the US and China have a large arsenal, but prior to 2023 this seemed primarily for self defense and as a deterrent. It wasn't until the last 12 months that world leaders have threatened to use the nuclear bombs to destroy each other. So then I would say in 1948 for the first time we saw that this prophecy had the potential to be fulfilled, we then watched with horror as year after year bigger and more destructive bombs were built. We became alarmed when states like Pakistan and North Korea got nukes. We tried to keep states who have made it their mission to use such bombs from getting them like Iran. But in the last 12 months for the first time in human history we have had world leaders threatening to use nukes, we have Iran on the verge of getting a nuke, and we have AI that would be able to truly kill all flesh. Notice that this prophecy does not tell us the day or the hour.
Luke 20:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
We have seen Jerusalem compassed with armies a couple of times. It would be reasonable to say this happened in 1967 and in 1973. But at those times the world was not capable of killing all flesh. We did have a few predictions of the rapture but the prophecy about the sun being darkened followed by the moon not giving her light would have eliminated them. But these threats are very real today, we just had a solar eclipse followed by a lunar eclipse, and the world is truly able to destroy all flesh. Right now we have a four front war against Israel with Hamas 45 miles from Jerusalem. We have Yemen, Lebanon and Hezbollah also in this war as well as Iran making an announcement, Syria is involved, Jordan is involved, and even Turkey is threatening to get involved.
Ezekiel 38:10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
The prevailing interpretation is not my interpretation. I do not think this is prophesying about Israel but the USA. Today about 50% of Jews live in Israel and 50% live in the USA. The USA is the strongest ally to Israel, so if you want to attack Israel you have to deal with the USA. So to my understanding there is an attack on Israel similar to what we are seeing today, and then they also attack the USA.
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
This accurately describes the USA but not Israel.
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Cattle? Israel has 150,000 milk cows, that is 0.3% of the world's total of cattle. The USA has 9 million head of cattle, that is more than 9%, close to 10% of the world's cattle. This word cannot possibly refer to Israel, not today, not in the future. But it most certainly can refer to the USA.
Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
Matthew says the gospel must be preached in all the nations, Mark says it must be published in all the nations, and Luke says to "go into all the nations". There is a progression here. Right now the gospel is going into all the nations. With the internet, with various ministries like the Gideons translating the Bible into 200 languages, with evangelists and Youtube, the gospel is going into all the nations. However, even today it is not "published in all the nations". Some countries you have to smuggle bibles in. After the rapture I believe that will change. For one, a collapse of human government will open the say in the chaos for this to take place. Second, with people being raptured from every country, especially young children everyone will be open to the word of God to understand what is going on. Therefore I believe that this word shifted into high gear during the Pandemic. Many Christians around the world began posting on the internet. So I would argue that this command in Luke was obeyed beginning in 2020. Hindsight is 20/20, but even this blog has views from 250,000 different IP addresses. These are not bots, there are other blogs similar to this that have been around longer with 10,000 different IP views, so even though there might be a few thousand bots, most of these views are people. There are thousands of similar blogs and channels. Every church these days is streaming messages and posting them online. This all took off in 2020 and now you can join small group meetings on Zoom.
Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
We live in the West, the Middle East is in the East. During the first Gulf war for the first time in human history we watched CNN show us the bombs falling in real time. We were watching the lightning come out of the East and shining to the West. The signal was travelling at the speed of light on fiber optic cables and satellites communication.
Once again I would point out that all of these prophecies have never been fulfilled in human history prior to this upcoming weekend.
