People don't kill themselfs to experience greater suffering they are deceived into thinking there suffering will end.
You saying they go to hell? (wether they think so or not) That better not be true. They don't deserve that.
People don't kill themselfs to experience greater suffering they are deceived into thinking there suffering will end.
I was once suicidal Big mistake. Like i said hell is alot worse than any suffering here, some people think there pain will end only to find out the worst suffering ever that made there pain on earth seem like a holiday.
I want to give people hope here on earth real hope not mind over matter, God has changed my life He really is a miracle working God
i don't see why suicide (act or thought) should be a sin. its your life.
thats like saying taking your own car is stealing...
Thats exactly it...you think its your car....
DarkVoid, so if someone told you they were suicidal, you'd say "Well, go ahead. That's fine."
I don't mean that in an accusatory tone, I suppose I'm just curious as to what you would do.
But your life is not your own. We were all created by God Himself. Our lives were planned and set into motion by our Father in heaven. This is true whether you believe in Him or not, but it carries a much greater weight for one who says they serve Him. When we serve Him not only is our life His simply by default, but we choose with our own human will to make it His also. You see, our life is not ours. Saying we can take our life is our own so we can take it is like saying, "My child has my DNA in it. I created him/her. So I can determine their life." We didn't create ourselves. We shouldn't claim that authority over our
lives.
I say this with the utmost compassion for those are suicidal because I've been there so many times. It's a hard place to be. It's beyond description really. Yes, it's sin. It's pride to take your life into your own hands and become your own God. It's choosing to believe a lie which is oh-so-hard to forsake. It's lying to yourself. It's lacking love for yourself and others. It's selfishness. And it's not worth it.
Well, it is true that God helped me, and continues to do so... But I had to make the choice to allow Him to do so. I had to reach out for help. I had to believe in truth. You see this isn't just about the poor person who wants to die. I can definately empathize with that. That person is trapped within themselves, but that doesn't mean they don't still have dominion over their thoughts and actions. They can make a choice to take one more day, to believe that there may be hope just around the corner. They can reach out even if its just calling a friend. They can look up, scream at God, and tell Him they don't believe Hes there. But if they do nothing, they are giving their lives over to death. No one and nothing is taking it from them. If they keep trying to hope. If they keep wrestling with God, He will make Himself known. Its their choice to choose Him or not. Peace is available to anyone who seeks it, but its not a peace of this world. Peace is available but it must be accepted.
Dark, I only speak this way because I have lived this way my whole life. I do not judge a person who is so lost that they can see nothing else but death. I have been there so many times, and I know that it feels like there is no hope or peace. But there is and to live in it is just a matter of believing just a little bit... Just enough to reach your hand out from under the covers to brush your hand across it. Then you reach a little farther, getting a tighter grip... Sooner or later the hope and peace become recognizable even to you.
Dark, the truth is there is no hope without God. None whatsoever. Death is your only hope... well you think it's hope. But really it's just speeding up the progression of your torment. But the great thing is you can be without God, but he is never without you. In desperate times people who do not believe in God cry out to him accidentally all the time. In a fit of rage or sorrow, they find themselves trapped in a slip of the tongue. They start praying... Even unconsciously. Even if it was your mistake God hears you. You spirit knows there is a God. God will reach into the life of any person, but the person must respond. God doesn't force himself on us.
