What exactly happened today that caused you to masturbate, when you have been "clean" for days? If you masturbate to online images/videos, very likely you are involved with the exploitation of women. You should care more about the women you exploit, and partaking in this activity, more than your own desires and feelings of self-pity. When you masturbate, you are in a state of rebellion. I think you already know this. This is not something that is totally outside your control. You may need to seek professional counseling. Sorry if I sound harsh but I have very little patience on this issue.
“Sorry if I sound harsh but I have very little patience for this issue.” So don’t respond. It’s simple. That’s the last thing this man needed to hear. Keep it to yourself. If you have nothing important or helpful to say, keep your lips closed.

Were Adam and Eve in rebellion when they stayed unclothed in God's most holy presence?

i think masturbation isn't inherently right or wrong it depends on the context. avoiding porn is the first step, then if you do it stick to thinking of a future spouse of your dreams and make it about love. if there's a chance God doesn't mind that, then you're aiming in the right direction to find out, but i think it's when there's no possibility of this that people give in to porn and forget all about what God might like because we think it must always be awful. i don't think it's always awful. i recon some people that are against it think sexuality isn't really that holy either when it comes down to it and that's why they hate masturbation so much - it sums up how unholy they think sex is, but who created sexuality in the first place? It came from the root source of all holiness

Don’t beat yourself up, your heart’s in the right place & God loves you. Keep putting God in first place in your life & remember His love for you. Don’t let anyone guilt-trip or criticize you because none of us are perfect at all. People will be quick to judge & call it “love” when most of the time they’re harsh to others the same way they are to themselves. I’m here if you need a friend to talk to.

So I was thinking... imagine if you gave yourself to this thing... let’s just say you gave in and did it all the time as much as you could, (as far as I’m aware it creates dopamine in the body which is addictive)... then imagine how you would feel when you face the Lord- I reckon you would regret wasting so much time lol when you could have been praying, studying the Word, seeking God’s about what He wants you to do, teaching the Lost by leaving nice tracts around or whatever you feel led to do to help them get saved. The point is this... there are many things you can do which have great value for you in eternity, and when you meet Jesus, you really will want a reward from Him; the Bible says His reward is with Him. This thing does not need to rule over you. God made your body with its hormones and everything. You don’t need to go to your parents about this... just keep falling more in love with Jesus, tell Him all about it, you will work it out with Him and He will lead you and comfort your heart. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. David, Solomon, in fact many men in the Bible has lots of wives, and children... God didn’t seem to have a problem with this... only with blatant sin like murder, adultery, foreign wives. You are young, you have hormones, God knows you don’t want to sin against Him. Learn to work things out between you and God... you sound like a very sincere Christian young man.
God bless you.

Good post. The Christian walk is a journey. Strive to be perfect and holy, but don't get depressed and give up if you don't arrive. God is looking for people who are willing to do their best. Victory is ahead, that is a promise. Jesus loves us even though we are not perfect yet. He wants you to have peace in the present.

Remember the bread and wine.. Communion it will enforce your good conscience towards God's presence. Jesus has paid for all sin. Coming out is certain.

Whether or not it’s wrong to do will be debated until Jesus returns. I believe it’s best settled for yourself in prayer. That’s how I came to the answer for myself.
