morning GG! So warm here, well, not quite as cold!
wind out of the south, so great to feel, a lot of snow is melting, once we get the bare ground again it will absorb much more heat from the sun. Sometime this month the cardinals will start singing again.

yes, we are having a "heat wave" here today, almost 40 this morning. The kids snow creations are melting away and the parts of the driveway we don't clear snow from are starting to show again.
Yeah! Planting time soon
we're going to (try) and plant fresh veggies this year (if our animal friends around here will leave it alone...... they won't 
but we're going to try anyway)
It's great for the kiddos as well to garden, watching them grow. I like the pole crops, as I only need to fence to protect them in the early stages, then they grow out of range of Mr. Bunny.
Rocky Raccoon did an end around last summer, didn't come into my yard in the back, went around the side, out of sight, and ate all the grapes.

Wouldn't be the same.
Mama Racoon was "trained" she wouldn't come to the garbage cans, or even up on the porch looking for food, but she would come to a certain point just before our porch and stand there looking twards the house with a hopeful look in her eyes.
When we'd see her and go out with something to give her, she would run off a few feet, wait for us to leave then come over and get it.
The squirrels on the other hand, come right up to window ledge and stare at us when we're eating......
in the meantime the yard is FULL of nuts.

Living in Spain I get this same ban from time to time. It does not come from the Spanish end though.
