Are you conscious of chocolate, self-conscious about people seeing you eating chocolate or does it weigh on your conscience how much you have eaten?
Why is there a reaction button for indifference? I just can't imagine being indifferent to something yet caring enough to click the reaction button about it. Have people really become so addicted to the sound of their own opinion that they need to express their opinion of having no opinion?

I see the indifference reaction as a negative reaction. You are voicing your opinion that you don't really care, which becomes a disparagement of the topic or post.
It's kind of like using the "meh" emoji, or replying "whatever!" to what somebody has just said.

In my first book about the Christian's approach to life and morals, I addressed this seemingly increase in child sexual interest. It may well be related to child porn and any pornography that is becoming more present in our society. When people watch this garbage, demons will jump on you back (in your mind).
That is how the devil and his cohorts work. They plant these images into your mind and whisper into your ear at just the right time. Even when we are offended by something, like child sex, we can become desensitized over time. This is especially useful if Satan can give you a guilty feeling by a suggestion that offends. He can get you to wonder why that came into your mind. Soon, you can start doubting yourself and you own motives. He does this over and over until he changes your outlook on some things. That is why we need to discern when a demon is whispering to us, and do like it says in James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This works, once you see it is the enemy the jig is up.
I think I may have found a good and proper use of the BDF: I'm thinking they might be good resources and fact finders when I want to find out if and where there is any historical or theological support for a new idea I encounter that sounds theologically off. (Not because they cite all their sources, but because there are enough of them that if no one has heard of it and argues for it you know it's a pretty fringe view).

In Europe and Asia? It's no secret that all sorts of trafficking is rampant world wide. It's a nearly 100 billion dollar a year industry. The Superbowl brings in tons of money for traffickers because of the high demand for trafficked children.
There are places in South America where parents sell their children just to put food on the table. You can drive down some roads there and see little girls on the side of the road forced into prostitution.
I heard of a family (I believe in India) that was letting a judge use their child practically for slave labor just to have a little money. The judge was found to be torturing this little girl.
Terrorist organizations make some of their money through human trafficking.
It's not just Europe and Asia and it's not really a secret any longer. There are actually ways to learn how to spot a trafficked child.
There have been stories of UPS drivers, Uber drivers and hotel/motel employees spotting things that seemed wrong and girls got freed by these peoples actions. This is in the US.

Yet the mention was not about pornography. The comment I saw was about catholic priests having sex with kids because they are required to be celibate. Rather than thinking easy access to children attracts certain kinds of people.
And, naturally, that same thinking would have to be applied to any celibate single. Pornography is not intended to be a factor in this specific scenario.
