So, I'm around youths a lot...due to the skate place, and church, and work in hospitality...and YouTube videos...and video games...and I just want to say...

I'm watching this sea of bad choices...and lies of the enemy...and apathy/anger/depression/other usually problematic emotions for living life in general...that, albeit, I can relate with...but certain am fighting against vs promoting...

..and so...unless...you are...actually in someone's life...as a friend...or a mentor...or something that makes them actually potentially listen to you and care what you think/say about things...

...you can't really seem to impact things...maybe you can...and I just haven't. ._. I need to get on that...but I just wanted to say this to other people. We need both to be helped, and to help others. Without Jesus...it's all just a mess...and there's a lot of mess and 'without Jesus' I'm seeing going on in the world...especially among people around and below my age.
 
The nostalgia-ization of war, and the war-tainment industry are increasingly becoming not my thing. War heroes should be thanked. But the idea of turning real life war/combat events into movies/entertainment seems to cheapen the gravity and misery of war. Consuming Junior Mints and a large Coke and/or popcorn as people depicting real life soldiers get their limbs blown to pieces seems to cheapen the sacrifice and lessen the misery.

Plus what's up with people being civil war/WW2/what ever war buffs? A tragic thing like war becoming a cozy nostalgic hobby?
