Actually went later than planned because a church brought like 30 of their kids to see it. The line was backed up outside. So I decided to avoid that showing lol.

But aside from the fact that we were the only ones there without kids XD It was actually pretty good! I'd see it again. :p

Sounds like you had a blast then :)

Maybe someday when it comes out on DVD I'll enjoy it from home lol I'm cheap like that. :p

It's been a while since I've been here and it's so close to hitting 50,000!!!!! I don't know why this excites me so.

Also, randomness for the day. My fire alarm keeps chirping and changing the battery doesn't seem to help for long. I have no idea how to fix it. Is this really a call the maintenance man worthy request? Calling them just feels lame.

I met a 110 pound 8 month old Newfoundland dog today. His name is George. He Drool's lot. I love him, even though he drooled all over me and my Dog Sophie. He ran around the dog park like a champ. He was hysterical.

Was the new battery just bought or old? It's possible that the new battery was already old and weak. If that's not the case, you probably need a new smoke detector (it's a smoke detector right? not an actual alarm like they have in schools is it?)

It is...astonishing...how fast an ice cream sandwich can go from "tasty frozen treat" to "puddle of sadness".

You know, when you get it out of the freezer and set it on the counter and forget about it for half an hour. So...it's less astonishing than it is inevitable, but the important point of this post is that I wasted approximately 20.08333 cents all because nobody has invented some kind of "Hey your ice cream is melting, dummy" alarm-type...device.

Put it back in the freezer.

I don't think I've ever forgotten ice cream...:p

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. "Uh... forget ice cream? How does that happen?" My brain scanned "forgot" and spat out static. Does not compute.

Anybody who knows anything about baking, I need some help. I need a chocolate crust that won't dissolve into whatever I'm baking on top of it.

See, I've been fiddling around with baked chocolate pudding lately. Same recipe as chocolate pudding on the stove top, but bake it in the oven. So I wanted to put a crust under it. Everything I try dissolves into the pudding mixture when I bake it. Chocolate pudding before cooking seems to be just too thin, it seeps down into whatever is under it.

And yes I have tried baking the crust and THEN baking the pudding on top of it. Still doesn't work.
