I wish I could say I am doing wonderful, but in truth, I am not doing very well. My grandma passed away tonight while the family was at her bedside. It was bittersweet because I know she is with Jesus, but she was a part of my daily life and so it has been very difficult. She was placed in hospice last Friday and now she's gone to a better place. I am just having a difficult time saying goodbye and I know that sounds really selfish, but I am unsure how to process everything we just had a special bond.

Sorry to hear that, dear sister. There's nothing selfish about missing a loved one. Death is our enemy. Yes, your grandma is with Jesus (and that's fantastic news!) but she's not on earth. And that hurts. But don't feel guilty for having such feelings. They're completely healthy. I pray that you're surrounded and supported by your loved ones as you work through your grief and find healing in Jesus. God bless you, Tigress.
