I want chocolate chip cookies. I'm out of butter. And plus, it's the middle of the night. Well, not really the middle of the night, but it's too late to obtain butter.... and too late to make cookies. But tomorrow, I'm making myself chocolate chip cookies. All for me. No one else gets to have any. Except wait. If I make them for the business and bring some in and sell them, then MY cookies are paid for.... that makes much more sense.
Guess what? Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Craisin cookies at the booth this weekend. WOOT! YAY and YUM!

since i don't have a video of my dog doing some "birthday entertainment", i figured this cute guy was the best birthday choice. : )
by the way, my sweet girl chloe isn't as enthusiastic about "singing". but i'm convinced she was born a conservative baptist. see, whenever i start dancing for too long (or enthusiastically), she expresses her concern with a few warnings and a look as best described as judgment and disapproval of my rather irreverent behavior. yes, this is what chloe looked like when she was but a teenager!
i really need to do one of these obnoxious videos pet owners make to prove how cute their dogs are. : )
however, chloe is not only showing real legalistic tendencies, but can be a bit of a hypocrite. see, when i make her favorite liver treats, all i have to do is grab one (oh, any treat will do) and do a little dance, and she'll start spinning around on her hind legs with so much conviction that one of these days i half expect (after a blinding flash) for her to be wearing some bathing suit that looks like it was made from the flag and a gold headband. maybe even bullet-deflecting bracelets? i'm sure she'll choose a very modest suit and cape. : )
