Haha. IN CONCLUSION: Just believe in people. I mean, Jesus does. Why would He have died such a gruesome death for the world if He didn't?

We should just side with Him and give the world a whole lot of Jesus.

You sleep in 64 degrees?? WHAAATTTTT!!!

I sleep in 75 degrees (24C), and I feel it's chill! :(

I can't sleep without a super fluffy blanket, so then I get too hot in the summer, and then I can't sleep...so the solution is to make the room cold enough that I don't roast under the covers :D

Youth groups I attended tended to be weekly events. One week would be more teaching/discussion time (maybe 90mins of the 2 hours) and the rest would be games. The following week would be more about growing together through various team games or going ice-blocking or skating or something (with some teaching/discussion at the beginning - maybe 30mins). And it would alternate each week. In retrospect, I feel this provided a healthy balance between the two extremes.

As for children laying hands on people and praying boldly for them. I saw that happen quite some years ago in a documentary and frankly it weirded me out. Which is sad, because I love Jesus and I love kids and I believe they should be on fire for Him. Also, didn't Jesus say to, "...have faith like a child"? But this was long before I knew much about how Holy Spirit worked beyond 'Bible times'. I wasn't a cessationist, but you wouldn't have known it. Thankfully now I have a greater understanding of Holy Spirit. He's a real mystery and unpredictable at times, but very possible to know and love. He's not always the consummate gentleman in how He deals with us, but it's for our own good, or rather for God's glory.

No work. That looks like the wrong link, dear Ole.

I watched a documentary recently on the Brownsville revival, and in it was a DVD all about the children's ministry. I watched how at the end of the children's message, when the children's pastor would call for them to come forth for prayer, all the children would literally race to the front of the stage, get down on their knees, some would weep, many with arms raised, and would worship God with completely abandonment and adoration. Their eyes would be closed, and they would have their arms stretched high like they couldn't take another moment without God moving and touching them deeply.

Typically, what I have seen with this age group, some would pick their nose, and push over the kid next to them, or would slouch and wait for the 'fun games', but this was a wonderfully beautiful image of children responding to the Holy Spirit.

Chris, the number 118.710 just divides itself BY itself. It becomes exactly one. I know that doesn't make much sense, but that's what happens, or at least that's how the cat explained it to me.

I tried that too but yeah, in the end I was still single. :(

Do you ever have moments/days when you don't feel emotionally well? I don't mean depressed, angry, moody, etc, but like the emotional equivalent of feeling physically ill. That's how I feel, assuming that makes any sense.

Or maybe I'm being melodramatic and I'm actually moody.

Made some revisions to the blog post I made earlier. It was a little bit rough....lol. It's not the blog was bad, but the flow and the silly mistakes I made it a little bit hard to read. lol I gotta say, though. I did good for it being 4 am.

update on kodiak.. he has aplastic anemia and was given one round of chemo and 1 transfusion.. hopefully he will be receiving another very soon. He has not been feeling well and as of yesterday, was running a fever as a possible result of a low white blood cell count.. please continue to keep him in your prayers.. thanks..

"Like" is really the incorrect response. I wish there was an "I identify with this post" button.

SUCH a successful market and I want to curl up and close my eyes for a minute. But I sold out of my most popular flavor so I HAVE to do a quick bake tonight. WHINE!! See yinz in an hour or so...

See? Well, will you look at that! It took me about an hour. And instead of ONE flavor, I made the sauce for and baked a SECOND. I rock.

Really though, God is so GOOD! I've been blessed with exactly the right tools to do this job.

Hey, if anyone has Shouryu's FB info or some other contact info, please send him a message asking him to look at his CC mail.

Same to Grace-Like-Rain, though ask Shour first.

I'll explain later :p.
Here's my "later explanation": I needed an address to which to mail something, and each of them knew what it was. Shour first choice to PM cuz I knew he was online and wanted to ask right away. Might give more details later; will wait on that.

Goodnight all; logging off for now :).

Oooh, thanks for the partial explanation. Goodnight. God bless you, dear sister! May you sleep soundly. :)
