We're on our 14th homicide of the year so far in the city.

well we know its not a crimeless nation. but yes post some stats. lets see the murder rate,rape rate, robbery rate,assault rate.
eh, 14 is small potatoes.
ours is currently 110. I think a few more died tonight so that number will go up.

Its not a contest. I am just saying we have our gang issues, murders, rape, drugs, just like everyone else.
I know, and I am just saying it could be much worse. granted everyone would like to see 0 homicides its just not going to happen. truth is when it comes to drugs like meth its a good chance the meth being sold where you live is being made where I live (we used to make cars, now we just make meth). the US and Canada is interconnected and as long as we have illegal drugs we will have gangs which equals homicides.

...ok, that was in jest, but it is a cool show and yes, everywhere has crime. Think about Montreal. It is a hugely international city, more so than even Houston, I dare say. Throngs of people from All Manner of places. Tell me that they left all of their criminal element, organized or otherwise, in whatever tropical location, eastern bloc, or "stan" they came from. Tell me there is no possibility for ethnically fueled hatred or violence. And what of the Old Machine that was running the place before they came? A city that size always has an underbelly, and a city that old has an old guard that runs the forgotten side of town. There will always be young upstarts. The fact is that Canada somehow does an awesome job of keeping the peace.
