I'm watching the Price Is Right Mother's Day addition, Mom's and their adult children are playing the games. I don't think I could ever go on this show, you have to act like a fool and I won't do that. I would like to win a car though.

So lessons learned from today: when telling the story of Judas betraying Jesus to people who have never heard it, you need to explain what kind of kiss it was that Judas gave Jesus. Just the looks on their faces and tone of their voice I know they didn't have the right idea.

You got it. life everlasting, because you beleive and the enemy can do nothing about this. So the enemy strives to get you stinking thinking over things present and maybe future or past to cause doubt and keep you unsafe in Father through Son, through the thinking process emotions steal, kill and destroy; when in reality as soon as you exercise Faith you are safe, no matter what is present, past or future. So stop and quit doubting as to what you do or not do

I love this so much ....

Love Is ...

A group of professionals posed the question "What does love mean?" to a group of 4-8 year-olds and the answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth."

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings."

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss."

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared they won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do they still love you, they love you even more."

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

"Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and the little stars come out of you."

"Love is when mommy sees daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross."

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Love is simple and precious.**God loves us in a simple precious way.**It is important to really love yourself in this same way.**Practice this week focusing on the beauty of who you are.*Ask God to help you know yourself better and better and to learn to love yourself and others with more simplicity

reading this made me laugh out loud. : )

in other news, the fact that the power was out for three hours today would've normally threatened to make me cranky, but instead it provided a perfect opportunity to go running outside in this gorgeous weather. so sweetly sunny and crispy all at the same time.

you know, the kind of weather where you can run in shorts and long sleeved t shirts and be perfectly comfy? i loooove that.

oh, and SPF 175

you know what's funny? i used to be one of those people who couldn't fathom why anyone would want to run. i thought it was some weird thing that people only do when they have nothing better to do or obsessed with exercise (or something like that).

i used to say, "i'll run if someone is chasing me, but until then..."

anyway, about 8 years ago, when i was still in recovery from my accident, my trainer challenged me to do something that would be a radical departure from my normal, pilates-type stuff. i was pretty skeptical from the outset and rather loudly objected.

at some point, i started running on my own sporadically. then it just slowly seeped into my life. running has such a peaceful (daresay zen) effect and a great way to clear your mind of thought. i find it to be a good time to pray.

probably my favorite thing about running though is that i don't sleep all that well when i don't spend all my energy. and running works pretty well for doing just that.

if running was a pill, i would imagine it'd be a quadruple-shot energy drink, a tranquilizer, a muscle relaxant and an anti-depressant all rolled into one. and that's just the beginning of the list of benefits.

who wouldn't take that???

I hope you know I don't have anything personal against people who like to run. I just have bad memories of gym class having to run for hours & it not being fun at all. Now on an odd side note,I used to love playing Basketball...and all that is is running back & forth like a lunatic,so ummm...yeah.
