Went shopping today for clothes. It was pretty successful, though at the same time frustrating.

With sleeping, when I can't sleep, I ask God for help in doing so and He always helps, one way or another, the Lord leads. Sleep is there for a reason for us, it's in His grand plan that we rest daily and I just try and think of something that can get me to sleep that's from Him, and, maybe it's a post from something on c.c. I can respond to or its something for my work the next day or near future that will enhance my giving glory to Him, my being able to bless someone, being able to advance in life toward what I see are His grand plans for me.

I just got home from a performance that I'm really proud of, and I'm still kinda on an adrenaline rush.
I do have a video of the performance, but it's on a DVD and I'm having a hard time getting the file off of it so I can share it. I was hoping to put it on YouTube so my dad can see it in the Philippines.
So, in the absence of a video, here's a picture.
My church does something called '7 Pianos' once a year and it is where, and, how profound am I going to sound here, but, yeah, it's where 7 baby grands are brought in and 7 players just play off each other's pieces. Quite a glorious blessing to hear, spectacular sound that blends together, even though, I admit my 'ear' is not perfect at catching all the nuances and harmonies of all 7. To me, they sound like a few pianos, like 3 or 4, but, the extra ones, I'm not sure, I hear so much of the difference in them all.
It's all good and, I bet, HisLoveneverfails, that you're a candidate for playing on one of those seven pianos now

I found out today that my best friend (who I haven't so much as bugged via facebook in ages) is in the same situation I'm in. In one way, it's nice to have her understand so completely, and be there to support each other. In a bigger way, I'm so sad for her...and because I understand completely, I hate that she's going through it too.
*sigh*

Haha oh no, I shouldn't have uploaded a video of such a good performance.. now when you hear mine it will pale in comparison.
I'm working on uploading it but I'm just sort of technologically handicapped. If I ever get it to work I'll share it with you lovely people. In the meantime, here's a video of me playing another duet almost exactly a year ago.. with the young man who became my boyfriend not long afterwards. ^_^ *swoon*

Man...what a day. The last 30 mins at work was spent talking with a neurotic lady who was an ex-"art teacher" trying to convince me that her grandson's name Finnegan was the coolest name ever,and that I needed to find him a backpack that would allow us to monogram his entire name (and by that she also wanted his last name on there as well which was like another 10 characters) He's 3 years old. The only backpacks we have that are recommended for ages 4-7 hold only 3 characters. All other's hold 10 characters max. "Then get me a bigger one that holds enough for his first name..and in green,with orange thread color for the name...because he's 100% Irish,and he has a great name!"
I told her that if I get him a bigger size he might have trouble trying to carry it,as he will be too little to even wear it on his back. "His parents can carry it for him then!"
I won't bore you all with the rest of her insanity,but you can imagine for yourselves how this story escalated & then climaxed when I told her we were sold out of any & all the the backpack choices she insisted he have.
People are absolutely insane & I am 100% in favor of God just smiting us all right now before we get even more out of hand.
So...how was everyone else's day?

Man....I'm REEEAAALLLYY hesitating about posting a pic in the makeup thread. I might just not do it. I took a pic for it, and it's now my avatar, but you can't see my avatar very well. I look like I have a lazy eye in it. Maybe tomorrow, when I might look decent...maybe not at all
