I love seeing a protective male person. So what Rick did was pretty amazing.
Funny, I got an unintended April Fool's prank. One of the colleges I applied to sent me an e-mail saying I got accepted (but the thing is my transcript isn't in yet, so yeah...they can't accept me.), and then they sent me an e-mail not too long afterwards apologizing for the confusion.

I am literally in tears as I write this.. once again I am struggling with my faith in God and in life. I think I may take a break from cc. I love you guys though, each of you who visit this thread... you're the best bunch I've met on the forums. Catch up soon I hope.

The Lord showed me something today. This past year or so my outlook on life has pretty much been "well it could always get worse". This literally was a comfort for me, knowing that it could get worse and just thinking it allowed me to be ok with things as they got worse and worse. It was a way of not getting too upset. A way of covering up my true feelings.
The Lord doesn't want us to think that way. We are people with HOPE, we need to HOPE for better among all the junk. With Him things will get better. We just need to trust Him.
I've come to the conclusion that hoping is harder than ignoring the problem and covering the pain, but it is what we are called to do. I need to be more positive, change how I've come to look at "bad" things in my life.
I thankful that God loves us so much that He'd correct us.
