So apparently I'm the cheapest computer repair person around. I work for chocolate. And some people need to learn some computer basics so they can do their own maintenance. (e.g.: why won't youtube work? because your flash player is out of date, if you click on it it sends you to the place where you can download the update) Wonder what this gal is going to do in 6 months time when I'm not in the same country to sort out her computer problems.

(And just to be clear, I did try my best to be polite/nice about it. Sometimes, there's just no good way to put, "The couples that are sleeping beside each other need to move.")

You could get creative with it.

You kids are putting yourself in serious danger. You might as well be fornicating with an electrical socket, because there's a heck of a lot more sparks flying in heaven than there are down here between you two. Real men wait and real women don't put out. If you want God to bless your relationship, you should probably focus on putting him at the core of it, which you aren't doing when you ignore one of the few commands Jesus gave in the New Testament.

That's always how things work with my best friend.

"My video card is on the fritz, and I think I'm going to put in a new heatsink."
"You know, it's poor form to just call me and assume I'm going to run tech support for you."
"I am also making brownies."
"Be right over."

So happy.
And because my life is on the fritz as always
I have a new idea.

And this idea requires documentation.

With this church adventure I am doing, this next two months I am going to find a way to sign up for a small group and I am going to document all of my church services that I attend. That way that when I talk to unbelievers about their experiences/hard times when trying to find a church that will accept them I will be able to tell them more honestly about how my story went. And how even today I am still in this place where I am waiting to find the right place.

Yeyuh.

God is good and has a purpose for everything.
Pilgriming I go.

You can start a website called churchreviews.com or something like that and post a review and info for each church you attend. :) This could be something big! There are a lot of christians out there looking for a good church.

With every new idea the first question should be "why hasn't anyone else already done this?" In this case I would guess any church reviewing site would quickly be overrun with people arguing about whether this or that church was good or bad, and it would rapidly devolve into a forum where people shout at each other.

So kind of like the Bible debate forum here then? Of course the other problem would be the people giving a church high reviews for nice bathrooms or a good band instead of the more substantiative things.

My parents had a good way of church hunting in that they made a list of what they wanted in a church before they went out church hunting. Their preferences aren't the only way to do things, but it helps them find a church that they like and want to be a part of.

You guys have a really good point on all of this. I wonder how many people really think about blogging about their experiences in finding a church.

So,just a little update on the kitties I adopted in November. One of them finally let me pet him today. YEAH!!!!!!!! And they have been lying down, watching me a lot more. So, progress has definitely been made. Oh, they also are not quite so likely to run away when I bring the wet cat food. And very talkative little creatures.

:( Hope u feel better soon, Lil. I had a migraine last few days which finally went away today (mine usually don't last more than a day, but this one was due to a long story that would just bore you). Get lots of fluids and rest.

Mine was from pulling that all nighter with the youth kids at church for our fundraiser and I just never recovered from it. >.< Chamomile tea has helped lessen it by half, but it's still sorta there. I'll be fine though.

This country is going down the tubes.

Well.
It might very well be,
but the kingdom of heaven is closer than we think!

And I'm being serious too.
Because Jesus promised it :D

It really does make a difference when like-minded people gather together and share their thoughts and wisdom in compassion and love. I was truly enlightened by one of posts tonight.. and you guys rock! (especially, you!)

lol. Funny thing is, I slept almost all day. I was so exhausted I barely moved all morning and a good bit of the evening. I ended up falling asleep around 9 am Didn't really get back up until 5:40 pm. And even then I haven't done a whole lot. Hopefully I still sleep when I go back to bed and wake up more refreshed.

ah the moment someone is asking for relationship advice, and i'm like "i can't even get a date. how can i even help you???"

good times lol
