And for all you fellow Pi eaters today, I'm not even done yet. I have a frozen pizza to bake, for which I will add strips of bacon to the top to spell pi. Didn't feel like making a shepherd's pie or a chicken pot pie this year, so I figure a pizza pie will do nicely.

I dont know which is worse.... the fact I actually SANG along with your rendition of "friday" or the fact that I had no clue that today was "pi day"
i just tried to explain to my dad what pi day is, which then led to explain pi.
try explaining pi in spanish to my dear ole father who had to quit school at a young age to work. "oh es dia de pago? [oh it's pay day?]"

Tell me about it. Although, I can't believe how time just flew by. There are parts of high school I miss, like not having to worry about anything and was able to enjoy being me. I also miss going to band and marching in the Christmas parade, band trips, and a few clubs that I was in. I actually took out a box that had a lot of my school memories and went through them. I couldn't believe how many of them got married, divorced, had kids, turned to drugs, military, and one died from a drug overdose. I am praying that they turn their life around. Although, it hasn't been quite ten years for me yet.

I know how you feel, most of my friends already got married, or have kids who are around 7-8 years old... its like everyone rushed to get their lives started at a young age... and I believe out of all my friends, I am the only one who actually moved out of state, got married, stayed married for longer than 1 year... and still dont have kids... (no kids is not by choice btw).
I miss math and sneaking into detention just to talk to the teacher. I also miss aerospace classes.

Kodiak-I must say, you are the strangest human being ever. sneaking into detention just to talk to the teacher?? you MISS math?? OMG.... I HATED math, I still hate math, and I hate that i use it still every single day. GRR!!!

I hated math and I am so thankful that my math classes are done and over with. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is I hate math, but I love accounting.

I liked learning. Well the teacher wanted to discuss more complex stuff than we discussed in class..... Math was my favorite subject, it teaches how to form arguments in geometry with proofs. That is necessary for lawyers and I want to go onto law school. On a side note, I took the math teachers assignment once and created an algebra problem, like we were supposed to, that he couldn't solve... he thought it was funny

lol, I get my love of math from my father, he is an accountant. So I have sort of fallen into liking accounting too....

I just dont understand math is alll. I honestly dont. No matter how smart the person is, or how they try to explain how to solve problems... I just dont get it. That was my worst subject in school... i barely passed math as it is, but I LOVED English... and I still do lol
English was pretty good. I couldn't stand writing essays for high-school English, but any other class was fine.
