Okay, yeah. That person was obviously misinformed...one is way less toxic than the other.
I already knew what citric acid was. You see that everywhere. Though, depending on the SOURCE of it... no, no, no. Not getting into that.
Actually, Propylene glycol was added to antifreeze to make it LESS toxic, like in food processing places. Also, if you happen to spill it on the ground and your pet licks it up, it's less toxic for them.
PG is considered safe for human consumption. If you really want to find a group of people who know a lot about this, look up anything about PG and electronic cigarettes/vaping. PG is the main ingredient there, and they know a TON about it.
