It's hilarious the conversations between my youth pastor and I sometimes. As I've said before he's like my brother. So he'll take jabs at me sometimes. So lately I've just responded with, "Your face." It's gotten pretty hilarious a few times.
I'm a dork, not a nerd, thank you very much.Music nerd stuff. Normal people wouldn't understand. Just say "there they go again" and keep moving. That's what most normal people do.
I'm also super glad you guys don't believe in the whole anxiety is a sin stuff.
Anxiety as a sin would be un-Biblical, according to the book of Job. Just sayin'.
True...but there are people who pull out some verses from like Matthew and Philippians I believe...and then they go on to say how it's amlack of trust in God, la la la. I've come across a few people like that...on here and in real life.
It's ironic to me that Islam, the world religion seemingly most notorious for standing in opposition to religious freedom, is much more welcomed and accepted in secular and post-Christian culture (aka the United States and many European countries) than is Christianity or even Judaism, world religions much more friendly to and even supportive of religious liberty.
This is on my mind after hearing today that Duke University, a private, secular university that removed a Chik-fil-a restaurant from its grounds after its owner voiced public support for biblical/traditional marriage, is now going to regularly sound a Muslim call to prayer across its campus every Friday.
This isn't meant to be a doom-and-gloom post, but rather a statement of the irony of the situation and my own lack of surprise at the double-standards that Christianity faces.
There is a lot I need to study bible wise. Its been frustrating but I've been learning quite a few things. Just glad God continues to have mercy on me.
Also been thinking about calling some old friends that I haven't seen in years. Its exciting yet nerve wrecking at the same time. I wonder how they will react, if they'd want to reconnect, and spend some time together. Some of them are from my child hood so I hope I can even find them. haha
I've always wanted to dye my hair... I can't ever decide on one colour. But I've wanted to try black, dark black for a long while. Most people say no, avoid it..it will probably not look good..thanks guys haha. XD Most say some form of blonde would look good for me. I sorta like the idea of red..or pink.
