Anyone else think the NYC New Year's program could've done without Jenny McCarthy? lol

To be honest, I thought what little I watched (about an hour's worth) sucked. It looked like not as many people invested their time to be there this year.

Oh, I guess it looked to me like there were lots of people there, but maybe there weren't as many as usual? I think your assessment of the program is pretty accurate though haha.

I don't really know who Jenny McCarthy is, but she was sort of their "street reporter" down in the crowd and it seemed like every other time they went down to her, it was really weird and awkward. They showed her making out with her husband right after midnight, and then a few minutes later she asked him how that kiss compared to others, and he said that it was great and he couldn't wait to get her home for more O_o Is that really necessary on national TV? haha. And then later they had just panned back to NYC from a camera shot in Miami and she said that while New York is the city that never sleeps, Miami is the city where people sleep with each other. Just a lot of awkward, inappropriate stuff like that. Needless to say the TV is off now haha.

To me it looked like that when they interviewed people. -shrugs-

I probably should go to bed pretty soon, but they have The Honeymooners on for a few hours and may go watch it after listening to some songs.

Tomorrow is a work day ironically.
Working at six am.

Helped set up for a new years/catering thing at work today and they gave me a bottle of apple cider...
Then one of my coworkers was joking around with me but partially serious and said "You know, you shouldn't drink that because Christians aren't supposed to drink (insuates that it's shaped like a wine bottle), even if it is a bottle of apple cider, people will get the wrong idea. It takes only just one. That's a lot like how kids begin smoking early, you know candy cigarettes? they will end up wanting to smoke early because it only takes just one."
Me: .............(illogical confusion) lol.

I also should be asleep right now, but I like the radio too much :)
I like it when people call in and share their testimonies vs. music all night long.

Some of my friends are texting me "Happy New Year". I wish! I'm actually getting ready to go into work at midnight...

i miss working holidays.

The best thing about working nights is that the store is quiet and there is no one to interrupt you every 5 minutes. It'll be busy later on in the day when people finally wake up, shake off the drunken stupor, and decide they're hungry, but I'll get to miss out on the madness because I'll be long gone! Cheers to that! :D

I need to sleep
lets find a meme for that.

just kidding fireworks.
*they are invisible fireworks*

Which means we are all getting old! :)

What kind of work did you do, Wise? I would love to find something that's away from the general public...

1st I was a janitor/maintenance, then well.. I can't talk about it but it involved computers... which ended few months ago. now idk what ill do next. prob go over the road in a truck.

Happy New Year, everyone.

I'd post a picture, except Angie has been taking all the photos, so she has them all. Maybe we'll upload a few tomorrow.

Goodnight.

So, I was traveling and bought this souvenir mug that is heat sensitive, so it looks black until you pour your boiling drink in it then you see the picture (a castle like building). It should not be an entertaining and fun as I think it is right nowIMG_2029.JPG

So yeah I guess that's my happy new year to everyone.

Have work this evening. Shouldn't really complain since it's later hours and there tends to be less people, which means less heavy work unless they tell me to do so. Just hope since it's New Years that it won't be so crowded by then.

Cannot wait to get out of there, too. Since now that it's the last few weeks and they give less days, I have time to prepare myself for the things I should've had done a while ago and see if I can get ready to start college. Wish me luck on that and perhaps consider it as a prayer request.
