On a completely unrelated note, I'm a bit of a blonde. I had to un-install Firefox because it would glitch and half of the page would just black out. Firefox had an autofill feature on it, when you typed in like an F for facebook, facebook would automatically come up. Type in ch and Christianchat comes up. I keep on forgetting that doesn't happen on Opera. I've accidentally googled "f" and "ch" I don't know how many times now. The results that come up are interesting, I will say. Still. Very blonde of me.

So yummy! I have a peppermint Mocha (decaf) right now. :) I had a gingerbread latte yesterday morning! It was AMAZING. Was so happy.

Ya know, I have never had a gingerbread latte. Is it pretty sweet? I thought it might be so I avoided it.

I don't think it's overly sweet. The flavor blends REALLY well with the coffee, it's mainly a ginger/cinnamon type flavor, and then they add molasses to it. Though this is the soy version, so the real dairy version could be a little different.
 
Someone mention countdown to black Friday? That is Lynx-stays-home day. I don't care about the "deals" they try to sell on that day - the only things I would be interested in are computers, and the only computers they sell at a deep discount are the ones that fall apart in half a year.

And I could get better stuff for less money in ANY category by going online. Forget black Friday.
 
*sigh*

Another on-call week. Another week of too quiet, too much time to think, not sleeping right because I have a mostly irrational fear of someone breaking in my house or...or...I dunno, airplane engines falling through my roof or...

I can't believe I didn't buy any ice cream the other day when I went grocery shopping. How could I forget something so important?!

I am but a microscopic piece of the universe, less than a dot compared to the stars and yet I know that He counts the hairs on my head. I am totally in awe and completely blown away at the power and majesty of God. Last night I told God I was mad, frustrated, searching, unsure of if i'm even loved or not, and tonight I am blown away and crying my eyes out knowing that even though I am nothing compared to the stars, He knows my name and He cares for me. He breathes stars into existence, He created the stars that are so large I can't even comprehend how big they are, yet He intimately cares about my life, my problems, my joys, my hurts, my ups and downs. And to think that this God, the God that created the universe out of nothing, sent His only son to die for me. To die for me! To die for me! To die for a microscopic piece of the universe that He created, so that I could know Him and call Him my Savior.


All I can say is wow, forever times, and then wow 10,000 times over again.


I can say for certain that I am in love. I don't need a woman, or my cars, or anything. I am in love with my God, my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer. :D
 
Just got home from my first day back to work........after a year .....thought I might forget everything.......
But I didn't.......I remember everything......it was a good night and I feel strong......
alot of the customers were happy to see me......everybody was so nice to me.......
Look out world.....the mama's back......and this time im gonna get me a life......
I might even start dating.........hahaha

Blond never gives up on match making for the single ones in their 30's or higher.....lol

I have similar thoughts when I lay in the grass and talk to God staring up into the vast starry space! Puts a lot into perspective. Also, I have to say that I am seeing some change in you, you are drawing nearer to God- or your relationship is growing stronger- more than I've noticed on CC before.

i'm sure if you checked the self-help section, you could find a book to help you with that XD
 
I expect a lot out of people sometimes- out of my great desire to connect with them. Sometimes I feel like I am walking around in this world like a severed wire, or an outlet waiting for a cord. That is my greatest desire in the world is to connect deeply and move someone by my something I've said or done. Not really for my benefit- or if it were to be for selfish reasons, it would be so that I could feel my existence. Not to feel so alone in this big world. But to understand and feel those similarities with other human beings that were also formed by God- who also have souls. It's rare that this happens in real life, this connection, maybe 3 times during my life. I hate the feeling of aloneness.
