Yea. Things just got real for them. I don't remember anything like that ever happening in canada and I've visited and have had relatives there since the 70's.

My family does the same thing. I know some of my relatives will be gone this year, so I'm not stressing. I do miss my Grandma on Thanksgiving. She was just nice to sit and talk with.

Welp, just dropped about a grand on parts for my car...New transmission, clutch, axles, and rear differential. Now time to install it. 
On another note, a family member just got back from the hospital and told me that the guy in the adjoining bed was an old pastor who invited him to his church and bible study and said he used to work for C.S. Lewis.

Also, everyone...please. Keep me in your prayers. I've been having stomach pain and I'm not completely sure why. I can only guess. I'll be seeing my doctor Friday to see what he has to say...see if I can get any answers. It's sort of really freaking me out.

Early morning here too... I slept for about six hours in a Nyquil-induced cold coma, and now I'm awake for some terrible reason. Had some hot tea... ate a piece of pie... now it's time for more meds and more sleep. Happy Thursday, all!
