I was born in England. My parents emigrated in 1965. I ended up in Australia a couple of years later. I have watched with dismay as Britain turned away from its Christian heritage, abandoned Israel, embraced Islam and began persecuting Christians. It's not the "send them to concentration camps" or murder as it is in North Korea or many Muslim nations. It's more harassment and intimidation.

A recent case is a schoolteacher, a Christian, teaching in a Christian school. She dared to present the Biblical view of sexuality - during an RE class. She was been found guilty of unprofessional conduct. While she is not forbidden to teach, she is obviously restricted in what she can say.

The irony is that Muslims hate everything to do with the LGBTQI philosophy. Homosexuals need to stay well away from Muslims and tall buildings. When Islam takes over the UK, the gender blender brigade will find life extremely difficult.

Britain is a sobering reminder of how quickly a nation can collapse if it turns away from God. Once, the sun never set on the British empire. Now the sun is setting on not at all great Britain as it plunges even deeper into darkness. Couldn't happen where you live? Don't be so sure. It is God who makes nations great, not man. And if God chooses to remove His blessing, the nation will decline into obscurity.

Christians are meant to be salt and light. Salt is a preservative and can stop the rot. Light will dispel darkness and allow truth to flourish. Complacency and spiritual pride are deadly enemies. We could ask ourselves if we are being salt and light where we live.

I read your post with sadness . I'm English , living in North East England most of my life , I'm 57 , 58 in a few months , but I'm about 15 in my heart 😜 . I wish I could disagree with u . Political correctness and woke ism is all over the media , but not necessarily all over the country . The media think they run this country but they don't . Where I live there is still plenty of basic common sense , it's just that it's being supressed . People still think they way they always have done but they keep their opinions to themselves now . Young people r being indoctrinated for sure , they have absolutely no discernment whatsoever . They've been brought up without any religion of their own ( apart from the muslims of course ) , so they don't c any danger from idolatry and false religions . If anyone says anything against islam it will b a young person who tells u that u r a ' hater ' . This perception of freedom that is being sold to them is a devilish lie , designed to seduce them into any and every kind of sin imaginable and plenty we can't imagine . The UK is a small place so changes r quickly noticed by everyone . Despite what we may b led to believe , only a tiny percentage of people here say that they r not heterosexual , a tiny percentage say they r not the gender they were born as . It's also political , especially the pandering to islam , there r a lot of muslims here and their votes matter . I do like the fact that violence towards people , anybody , is bring frowned upon and extolled as totally unacceptable . I hate violence of all kinds and I've never cared about the colour of a person's skin . I have to admit I don't enjoy all the islam stuff 😞 . Don't want to say much more . The over 30's in the UK still have plenty of common sense despite how the media is trying to mould us . There r still plenty of Christians about , we may b smaller in number than in past decades but we make up for that in faith and zeal , when the pressure is on us we double down 😜 . I just keep thinking about the return of Christ and how there will only b The Truth , the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth . One day soon , when it is God's Will , so , don't get too down about it all . We will win in the end 😁 .

Sad,yes. It should also be a warning to Christians everywhere.

America's neighbor to the north is changing for the worse. Christians are getting the enemies attention still. Only now Satan's allies are emboldened because his believers are growing in number too.
