These worldly things call out to me day by day
They try to trick me, telling me it will be fun
Im trying to keep my focus on the Risen One
Though the temptations get harder, I know I cant stray away
I refuse to go back to my past, where everything seemed to fall apart fast
I have a new future, a new beginning
A future with hope, and no condemnation for my sinning
I just have to stay strong and endure through the fight
And let my God be my guiding light
