Only the powers that be in the spiritual world can battle each other. We call on God's Angels to fight off Satan's Angels that are attacking mankind by mind influence. We cannot fight what we cannot see, but by the word of God, these demons can be defeated as the Holy Angels battle them. That is spiritual warfare. God will rebuke the devour for our sake.

And we are to pray in the power and will of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is our ultimate example of resisting temptation in spiritual warfare. Observe how Jesus handled direct attacks from Satan when He was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11). Each temptation was combatted with the words “it is written.” The Word of the living God is the most powerful weapon against the temptations of the devil. “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11).
A word of caution concerning spiritual warfare is in order. The name of Jesus is not a magic incantation that causes demons to flee from before us. The seven sons of Sceva are an example of what can happen when people presume an authority they have not been given (Acts 19:13–16). Even Michael the archangel did not rebuke Satan in his own power but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (Jude 1:9). When we start talking to the devil, we run the risk of being led astray as Eve was (Genesis 3:1–7). Our focus should be on God, not demons; we speak to Him, not them.
In summary, what are the keys to success in spiritual warfare? We rely on God’s power, not our own. We put on the whole armor of God. We draw on the power of Scripture—the Word of God is the Spirit’s sword. We pray in perseverance and holiness, making our appeal to God. I personally have always been a Spiritual Warrior, this is why I am Spiritually attacked so many times!
When the Believer place and maintain their Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, we receive Grace; the help of the Holy Spirit who does what ought to be done in our life. If the Believer lives any other way they enter the work of the flesh and stops the flow of Grace; Christ has become of no effect unto you...(Gal 5:4).
The LORD shall fight for you, and shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14).
But seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33 - Romans 8:2).

I do believe in spiritual warfare. How ever I do not believe in the phrase, "I rebuke you", even if I follow "In the name of Y-shua". Only the Lord rebukes. I pray "in the name of Y-shua" the Lord rebuke you".
For spiritual warfare you have to believe satan is real and the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of G-d. When you know that just one "In the name of Y-shua the Lord rebuke you", is all you need. G-d created satan and everything submittits to G-D!!!!!!

Rebuke is simply disapproving of what is being said or done,as we are all doing everyday on this sight.. We can rebuke each other as Peter rebuked Jesus saying, no this we would not let happen to you. When Jesus told them that if your brother trespass against you to rebuke him. and it goes on.
We have been given the keys of the Kingdom (Matthew 16:19). This gives us the authority to "bind" and "loose." "Binding" ties Satan's hands and stops his power to "steal, kill, and destroy," likewise, the "loosing" releases all that Jesus did at Calvary and the Resurrection. "Binding" has to do with the spirit world of darkness while "loosing" has to do with the Spirit World of Light. To "bind" means to restrict, stop, hinder, fetter, check, hold back, arrest, or put a stop to. To "loose" means to untie, unbind, unlock, liberate, release, forgive, or free.
And whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loose in Heaven.

The word of God says that we do not fight against those who look like us but those who are evil forces/spirits. Remember 1/3 of the angels (now demons) rebelled and were cast to the earth. Here is where they carry out their evil deeds and try to posses and oppress people. They are evil and must be fought by using the word of God and having God's spirit. We cannot fight these spirits with our mere strength, but it's going take a lot praying/fasting to break the powers of darkness. Remember when the disciples tried to cast out that devil? They couldn't do it. Why? Some demons can only be casted out through serious prayer and fasting. So, spiritual warfare is fighting against these powers. When someone rebukes
Satan they are engaging in this. And, please understand that those people were not glorifying or highlighting satan. They were trying to break his power off that person's life. I encourage you to read books on this. It will help you 
And, if you do find yourself in spiritual warfare remember to obey God fully and seek his counsel (proverbs 24:6), take up the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), know that you have the victory through Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57), praise your way through it ( praise is a weapon), and pray at all times and be watchful. Ya I have heard of those kinds of meetings and that is not spiritual warfare. Those meetings tend to pin the focus on the power of the enemy not the power of God, and a lot of them place them blame of peoples alcoholism on the devil himself instead of taking responsibility of their own mistakes and weakness. People should instead lean on Christ and come together to develop a deeper love and closeness to God that is where the power really is.
Spiritual warfare is however a real thing, it can be the enemy attacking people with trouble and pain but real spiritual warfare is something that can at times be really scary. The things of the spirit come in many forms sometimes even physically but you will never know just how powerful the name of Jesus truly is until you have had to use it to defend yourself or others. Demons will go so far as to try to make you mute so you can't speak it that is how powerful his name is how much they fear it.

as He is Praying a Homeless Man comes up to Him and asks Him for a few dollars, the Homeless man is a bit dirty, His clothes are torn and alcohol is strong on His Breath.
He is Obviously a sinner otherwise the Lord would Have Blessed Him Like Me, and the Word does say " Have nothing to do with the Unclean" the first Man recalls. " Cant you see Im praying Here?" sorry friend, i have nothing to give you I will pray for you or with you oif you wish. but if you need Money, get a Job"
The second Man goes away Humiliated, He didnt really want to ask, he had Hit rock Bottom this Night so He Hits His Knees while tears flow from His Face and from His broken Heart " Dear God Please Forgive Me, I have sinned My whole Life against your Word, against others, I have abused Myself and Made so Many bad choices Have Mercy On Me O Lord though I do Not understand everything, I have only been to church a few times and read your word even fewer, Please Forgive Me Lord though I am unworthy I need you and Please Lord feed Me I have Nothing to Eat I thought when I saw someone praying talking about Being righteous and thanking you......surely they would Have mercy On me, a sinner"

I personally have always been a Spiritual Warrior, this is why I am Spiritually attacked so many times!

Yes, spiritual warfare is not about Christians seeking out demons but about evil spirits attacking Christians. There are some false ideas floating around that every sin originates with a demon. But the Bible says that sin comes from within -- from the "heart" of man. But Satan and his evil forces concentrate their malice on those who are wanting to be faithful to God and serve Him.
God has given every Christian the armor that is necessary to be protected from demonic attacks, but as we notice in Ephesians 6 we are to STAND and remaining standing.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
The offensive weapons are (1) the Word of God and (2) prayer in the Spirit. Christ used the Word of God to demolish the temptations presented by the Devil, and we can do the same. The Lord also prayed that Peter's faith would not be shaken while the Devil attacked him, and we too can pray for others and ourselves. We should also note that if we are not totally committed to truth and righteousness we will not be able to stand. We should also note that the Lord's Prayer includes this petition -- DELIVER US FROM EVIL. The Evil One, evil spirits, and evildoers.
To me, spiritual warfare is simply....warfare that is happening in the "spiritual realm."
There are 3 realms:
1 - Physical realm which is everything associated with our 5 senses - it can be seen, touched, tasted, heard, and smelt.
2 - Spiritual realm which is the unseen world - the Kingdom of darkness where there are evil spirits, demons, angels pass through it to get to us on Earth in the physical realm.
3 - Heavenly realm which is the Highest realm - the Kingdom of Light with all power and authority. This is where The Father has seated believers with Christ in Heavenly places.
The battle is not in the physical realm - it takes place in the spiritual realm and then the results show up or manifest in the physical realm.
God wants us to operate from the Heavenly realm with power and authority as His ambassadors to do His Will on Earth.
