While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the discontinuance of my punishment, but I am so beyond disgusted that I doubt I'll be returning once these responses (to me) are complete. I am definitely not interested in participating in this level of hypocrisy.

This was a tough lesson for me at one point in my life. People I never knew or met before maybe on the job or walking past into a store just blindly judging me by their standards not even knowing that I was a follower of Christ and just say horrible things.
It took me a long time to understand it was really about me being a Believer in God and it rubbed their spirit differently and not that they really thought these things about me.
Before I knew and realized it was a spiritual issue, I would go right at them. And being a big not fat but farm made guy, they wanted no trouble with me. But the spirit inside of them hated me and made them say the things they did.
I used to think people had to know you are a Christian before your Verse had merit [do us wrong because of Jesus sake]. But it is more about the spirits than anything else.
yeah it’s part of the Christian life it’s not easy to accept but if we aren’t being insulted offended cut out by people ect it’s a testimony that we aren’t sharing the gospel with them
the world is about selfishness self the gospel is about sacrificial love to others the two are opposed so there will forever be conflict insult and offense is just something we are going to face if we have the lord Jesus living in our hearts and we are his followers and witnesses it’s going to bring a lot of fire and stones our way it’s a guarantee

if we want to know the lords path for us that’s where it begins , we can talk of sin and the law and everything but it starts there in what our lord said
If we follow it we are for sure going to face alot of persecution in life because hardly anyone thinks that way in the world
are we then to go by your experience? or do we go with God's word? what about the multitudinous [tongues
] testimonies of folk who did ask and receive in accordance with the scripture.I don't know about making noises but simply start speaking a language you never learned ... but FIRST receive that special coming upon of the Holy Ghost. THAT'S what we should be coveting.
It is plain to me from Acts that folks can be saved yet not baptised in the Holy Spirit.
It's folks that have not [for one reason or another] received the baptism of the Holy Spirit who are confused by it.Are you going crazy yet?
Your story sounds a lot like mine. Unfortunately, a lot of people are terribly confused about the whole tongues thing.
