You know, if you read the 1st Chapter of 1 Peter, you find he identifies the Holy Trinity.

He also stresses obedience and that salvation is grace THROUGH faith. (just saying)

1 Peter, Chapter 2:

15For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

This is not easily done, and, IMO, few of us actually meet this teaching.
